I was wondering if there are any MotoGP riders from America right now? Just got into it myself but was kinda sad that I didn't see any Americanos at all.
I've got a '16 Xdiavel S and I also put a Healtech Quickshifter on it. At first I put it the sensor on the shift rod in the same place that Trevor put yours. I didn't use the conical washers either, as you also did, to try and get as best a signal to the main module. But I never could get the quickshifter working properly with the sensor on the shift rod. So I moved the sensor to mount under the bolt of shift arm that is on the splined shaft coming out of the transmission. It is a tight fit but it works fine there. It made a big big difference. Some reviews have said that the 1>2 shift was clunky with the sensor on the shift rod. With the sensor on the bolt of shift arm all shifts are very smooth, including the 1>2 shift.
Being the owner of a 2017 Aprilia Tuono RR, I quickly got used to the quickshifter / autoblipper and I became completely addicted to it. Now, the one and only thing that keeps me from getting a Ducati XDiavel S is the lack of this OEM option. The day it will be available, I will be ready to open my wallet for this beautiful Italian. What you have installed, seems to work very well, though... but the autoblipper is still missing LOL Good job!

Hey Jaret, good choice on the quickshifter. I’ve been running the Healtech iQSE on my XDs for the last 3 years. I do have a suggestion. If you mount the sensor on the shift shaft pinch bolt (with the included spacer) instead of on the rod, you will have clutchless up and down shifting. It also looks cleaner. It’s worth the change! The instructions have the details on installing it this way.

No need, just a different feel. Similar to the difference between stick shift car and slapping a paddle shifter, both fun just different. One more raw and visceral, the other more smooth and efficient.
there really isn't a need for anything if you think about it HOWEVER, it will give you much faster shifts and allows you to keep your hand on the bars for better handling etc while going up through the gears. There are a lot of riding advantages to using a quick shifter for sure

Hey Jaret how’s it going 👍🏻 i absolutely agree with you riding with a quick shifter makes riding way better less stress on your hands obviously as your not always having to pull in your clutch but the sound to is fantastic as you shift up through the gears 👌. Have you thought about fitting an auto blipper as well that’s if there’s one compatible with the Xdiavel i have a blipper and quick shifter on my ZX10R and it is so much fun going up and down through the gears with the quick shifter and blipper........maybe something to think about? Good stuff. Jaret...does this HealTech quickshifter you put on also have the ability to downshift also? I believe some quickshifters can only upshift. I might be wrong but I believe the quickshifter that comes from Ducati is one that can only upshift. Are you going to put this on the dyno again before you let it go to whoever wins it? It would be a good before & after comparison.
That Quick Shifter was awesome. Checked out some price in Norway LOL. Someone try to get rich by selling them here like the most of mc-accesories in my country. Prices here is just over the top. I will buy one when I am in the US. I will save like 50%. Nice video.

Paul Willers it’s a 2019 so at time of filming I’m almost positive it still had its warranty. I had a QuickShifter installed at my Ducati shop and we had no issues.

JabbaTank No. Yamaha has their own QuickShifter for the R6, downsizing on what year you have. Plenty of aftermarket options available as well work up/down + blip. Since the factory Yamaha QuickShifter is only Up.
@@adonyxxx9988 isle of man is great and all from a respect standpoint but the TT race just isn't very spectator friendly. Head to head with great camera angles will always beat time trial fly bys in my book.

I've had that exact quickshifter on my Gixxer for about 2 years now. Never had an issue with it. Such a great mod.

yes you can use it either way...I tend to shift normal at low speeds and then use the quick shifter for faster accelerations

Use dielectric grease on connectors, mount parts with velcro to something solid, make sure nothing can move or vibrate!!

yes you still use the clutch for downshifting and then you can either use the clutch as normal when up shifting or simply quick shift :)

you can actually set what RPM's they can be used at...I think ours is set at 3k rmps right now

I'd actually probably do a monster 1200 and turn it into a cafe so I had lots more power and better handling etc

no good way to do it really...I normally slow down a little, pull in the clutch and try to get it back into gear as smoothly as possible
