We are heart broken over your news, pray for Robin, wish Colbin and Petra success on their employment and hoping Robin will land his dream job. These are difficult times for you all, selling your Home is never easy, yet know you all will succeed in the end. Love from the USA.
Just saw you’re selling. I’ve flowed along and enjoyed your story, I recently had a DVT which became a pulmonary embolism, and I’ve had to hang up my career as a pilot. I’m a expat from SA and wish all the best for the future. God bless
Amazing adventure - seems like you've pushed through the hardest part of your journey. Thank you for sharing it. I was just on a passage and reflected how Robin sat at the helm for 72hrs, it helped me stay focused and positive. Thank you!
Robin's 72hs at the helm on your Atlantic crossing inspired me when I was at the helm to stay focused and positive on my last passage. I wish you and your family well on your future plans - thank you for sharing your amazing adventure
Was in Chaguaramas a few days ago (7th July) and saw your boat on dry dock and decided to look you up. Good luck in your endeavours ...... just remember - your current situation is not your final destination.
Thank you for taking us along on your travels. We've been fortunate to be able to share a wonderful trip of discovery and joy as well as tough times. Also, it has been lovely to see your family unit work together. I'm sorry to hear about the reason the plan has changed and I wish you the best of the best for that. Blessings for the journeys to come.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so happy that you have followed along and enjoyed our travels too. We will continue until we leave Saoirse in the hands of her new owners, whenever that might be, so please stick around for a little longer.🙂
Only just started following Sailing Saoirse...you're making me cry! All the BEST going forward...Thank You for sharing your adventures...viewers are truly blessed, educated, and entertained. You'll be great at what ever is in store for your future.
Hi Freddy and welcome 🙂. Thank you for the kind comments and wishes. We hope you will stick with us until the end, at least a couple more months of adventure ahead. We are definitely looking forward to some new adventures once we have Robin's health back on track.🙂
I'm so sad for you guys....but as you say not the end of the adventures....for the "crew"...fantastic opportunities and new adventures. Must say got a lump on my throat for you all....but you're so lucky to have had this amazing time together. So much luck and more adventures to you all xx
Thanks so much Debbie. Yes, the adventures will continue they will just be a bit different. Who knows, maybe we will be up in your neck of the woods soon 😉
🤗😔Private is private and respected and we all will keep it that way..., it wasn't easy to make this episode in sure and myself and Kim wish only the best and success and health and blessings to all ...but you still started the episode with beautiful places and scenes..... thats character😁..even though you had this Breaking News to share... I was trying to see what Colban was pointing at in the water 😂,missed it...great that some super yacht and charter experience is ahead..we will continue to watch and support and look forward to all you that you share with us..Big hugs and blessings from L&K
Thanks so much, Louis and Kim. Yes, we are being positive that the future holds a whole lot more adventure for all 5 of us, just in slightly different ways to what was planned. Like the saying goes 'if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans' so we will just roll with whatever the future throws at us and continue to believe it's part of the bigger plan.
Prayers for you all. You will be missed for sure! My TH-cam algorithym hid you for so long, I had to search for you by name. Sad news, but know we will keep you in our prayers.
I wish ya'll the best. I am going to miss ya'll. I loved your channel. I was hoping ya'll would of sailed in the pacific past my Island. But I see that isn't going to happen now. Ok get well and injoy life as much as you can. And until we see each other again, Aloha and Mahalo from the Big Island of Hawaii ! Aloha!
It would have been amazing to have ended up in the Pacific! Hope you will follow along until we pack up and move on. No saying when that will be, at this point, but we love getting your comments and input.🙂
So sorry to hear that your adventure is coming to an end but you are right, doors close and new ones open. You have been very blessed to be able to do this as a family. Your memories are yours to keep forever 💛 💗 see you when you get home xx
Absolutely! We take away very special memories at the end of all this and have faith that there will still be exciting times ahead. It's hard to imagine returning to 'normal life' again, so will need to come up with some new adventures very soon.🙂
Hi Guys love watching your videos & very sad to see your journey has been cut short but always remember your health is always more important than the travel, once the medical side is sorted out I am sure you will be traveling all over the place, good luck to all of you with your future travel experiences & thanks once more for letting me follow your sailing.
Hi Dave, and thanks so much. Yes, we will be making Robin's health our priority from here on. Just hoping to sell by June but if not, will head back down to leave Saoirse in Trinidad for the hurricane season and head home. The future will be exciting too, for sure. Thanks for following along, and I hope you will continue to until we are done.🙂
Hi Janine, and thanks so much. It's been a shorter journey than expected, but we will be forever grateful for the time we have had. We are staying positive that the future will hold a lot more adventure still.🙂
I wish you all the very very best and trust his health will be sorted out and soon you will be back on the ocean, much love for your entire family 😢😢😢😢❤
Sad news indeed, will miss following you guys. I hope we can meet up somewhere for a drink. It’s been a while since Saint Helena….wishing you all the very best
Hi there, for sure, its been way too long, but we will be up in your neck of the woods in the next couple of weeks and hopefully can get together again. If Saoirse doesn't sell by June, we will probably be joining you back in Trinidad too.
Thanks so much, and also for your input along our journey. We hope you will stick with us until the end, we have a few more very special places to visit before giving it all up.🙂
Hi John. The boat is in fact registered 2020. She was an entirely new rebuild. Had been stripped back to deck and hull and rebuilt. This allowed us to register her as 2020.
We had considered getting into small charter options a few months ago, but now our priority is Robin's health and we need to be back in South Africa for that. 🙂

Oh wow, sorry to hear that Rob. I hope your health has taken a turn for the better! All the best to you too 🙌🏼⛵️❤️
Just pressing pause. Sure that everything will turn out for the best. Keep the good times coming
Thanks for that - it's perfect - 'just pressing pause', what a great way to look at it.
Amazing adventure - seems like you've pushed through the hardest part of your journey. Thank you for sharing it. I was just on a passage and reflected how Robin sat at the helm for 72hrs, it helped me stay focused and positive. Thank you!
Oh wow! Well done Patrick! How were your conditions over those 72 hours?
You must have been absolutely exhausted after your shift!
Robin's 72hs at the helm on your Atlantic crossing inspired me when I was at the helm to stay focused and positive on my last passage. I wish you and your family well on your future plans - thank you for sharing your amazing adventure
So sorry that your journey has changed, but supper happy that the journey is still positive.

My friends, it will all be ok♥️♥️♥️♥️
Sad to hear that the end of one adventure is coming, and excited for you that a new one will begin.
Thank you so much. We have decided that rather than be sad about what we will be giving up, rather to be excited about the future.
I wish ya'll the best. I am going to miss ya'll. I loved your channel.

Het jul geniet!! sterkte vir jul toekoms
Baie dankie Danie, Ons het a wonderlike tyd gehad en dit ons sal dit altyd onthou.
Listed as a 2020??? It looks like a 2002 model. Best ask Tony to correct that misleading bit
Hi John. The boat is in fact registered 2020. She was an entirely new rebuild. Had been stripped back to deck and hull and rebuilt. This allowed us to register her as 2020.
@@SailingSaoirse22 That sort of makes some sense.
BTW, Tony is a great broker. He sold my boat for me about six years ago.
I heard you say fhatyou wish that everyone should experience what you have. Why don't you take people that what to sail with you..
We had considered getting into small charter options a few months ago, but now our priority is Robin's health and we need to be back in South Africa for that. 🙂
