Arctic Camping | A Drone's Perspective | Tjäktja Camp on the Kungsleden King's Trail, Sweden 2023

This a reminder that there are still places on Earth to find space!
In April 2023 I guided a client along the famous Kungsleden King's Trail in Arctic Sweden. There are huts along the way but to embrace the wilderness a bit more and to provide flexibility we chose to camp dragging our kit behind us in a sled called a Pulka. This is an example of the sort of barren, wild and breathtakingly beautiful campsites that we had to ourselves along the way.
Part of a larger project, I love some of this footage taken at camp with a DJI Mini Pro 3. Operating at -10°C I was really impressed by its performance and very glad it didn't drop out of the sky into deep snow!
This was a wonderful camp on a frozen river bed just off the Kungsleden in northern Sweden. I managed to get some aurora shots framed with the tent that night but better performances still awaited us further down the trail!
