There's a detail that 80% of TH-camrs forget, when you put the GT7 on the ''time trial'' bike, the race track becomes empty of the public, which is why you should always put it in race mode, so it stays full. The game has these details, I think it's unnecessary, but it does.
GT7 paint simulation makes the biggest difference here. The problem with Forza is how plastic the cars look, alongside the overuse of bloom effects on taillights that aren't LEDs or anything similar.
I think we're all lucky as gamers to have these games available to us. As an old school gamer it's awesome to see how far everything has come, the level of skill and dedication it takes to develop these games is phenomenal.
To experience the true nature of gt7 you gotta try it by yourself on a ps5 to see the quality of it. TH-cam cant give you that quality no matter what quality setting you set on.
@@DiegoPalhocaSC my friend if you play any of these games on pc or Xbox for yourself they are a lot better than what you actually see in TH-cam. Sometimes TH-cam cant capture the real quality of the visuals in the game . Trust me this happens quite often with modern games .
@@DiegoPalhocaSC btw I have played both games and you can simply make them look even better than that by simply adjusting the brightness, contrast and some other settings. Gt7 look a lot better on ps4 pro itself with those setting than what you see in the video . Same applies to Forza . But however just saying checkout Forza motorsport 7 it's actually a lot better looking than motorsport 8 .
Cars look better in GT7 and they also move better there. The reflection in cars look more realistic. Forza artificial lighting look better though. The track lighting the track look better and also the rain look better. But I would prefer GT7 because the cars look more realistic.
The difference is in the details. GT7 has a far more detailed car paint model that is more realistic than Forza’s, not to mention the vehicles have more resolution and micro details that Forza models don’t and do impact the look even if not immediately visible. Couple the fact that on PS5 Pro Raytracing is on during races, and that said RT model is not only more detailed and reflects far into the distance than Forza’s, and you start getting that realism. Also, the Forze devs are obsessed with making the camera look ‘cinematic’, so they add a ton of post processing effects to it which make the end result look lore cartoony and fale. GT7, on the other hand, aims to make the vehicles look as realistic as possible, which makes a huge difference.
When you turn in gt7, why don't you ever see the side profile of your car. It looks like the track is moving around the car and not the other way around.
That is just due to very stiff camera settings. You can actually make it way looser so that it's not locked on your car and it looks so much better. Though it seems like this person didn't touch the camera settings which aren't great out the gate.
If you are on a pad and play in 3rd person, that locked camera setting is far better for accuracy when cornering. Y'all ignore that more robust sims have very stiff cameras also. But again, it can be changed to give you that arcade racer feeling Forza has.

Rt performance in Forza is not bad, but the performance mode is better, it's sharper. Then the right weather is a factor too. The same goes for Gt7 too.
If only GT7 would get an improved weather system. The rain effects are a joke. You can’t even tell how bad it’s raining unless you use the in car view. So many games like Forza and DriveClub have awesome rain effects. Gran Turismo definitely needs to step their game up in that department. The sky is just a solid grey color and the rain is just dull looking. As a long time GT player, I hope the listen.
So what you're asking for is rain splattered all over the screen so you can play your ultra realistic chase cam? Lol. GT7's rain is actually more advanced. FM is just thrown in with exaggerated effects.

Visually, GT7 is better...but for a driving experience, Forza is miles better. The Gran Turismo series is still to this day, stuck in pretty bad driving physics. Cars is Forza have actual weight to them, and u can sense the limit of the cars
I can tell you haven't actually played GT7. The two are comparable in wheel feel, I play both. Forza on my PC, and GT7 on PS4. I think Forza has slightly better feel through the wheel, and a better range of settings to adjust, but I haven't been able to compare the two titles between different wheels. GT7 physics are better IMO. Although I will say there have been some bugs here and there between updates over the years.
@familialgameaholics7618 I've played GT7 on PS4 and PS5. And mind you, I'm a HARDCORE GT fan. I'm 41yrs old, played the hell out of all GT games...but this Forza is a much better driving game than GT7 is.
I've played every GT title since 1997, and then every FM (and FH) since 2005. On GT7, in my Fanatec DD+ (15NM) I feel the weight shift in the cars. I feel (for example at Brands Hatch) the weight of the car get lighter as you go down the dip after the first turn, and then the wheel gets heavier as it goes back up. I can feel evwry curb rumble, or little bumps on the track. I feel the tires as they screech on hard, fast cornering. I can feel the tires start to slip depending on the car/setup/wheels as i go around turns too fast. There is a LOT going on with a proper wheel setup. My wheel works for Xbox, Playstation 4 and 5, and PC, so i use it on FM as well. And yes, I feel all that on FM as well. So I'm just saying...GT7 does have a lot of road feel and physics going on that can be felt through the wheel. I had a Logitech g920 before that and I can tell you, I felt probably not even half of that on it in GT7. But with that same G920 I felt more on FM. I think some wheels just work better or worse on certain games. Now I have one that seems to be able to even the playing field
I can't say Gt7 is better than Forza nor can I say that Forza is better than Gt7, both look amazing, Forza stands out more on a visual level and detail of the circuit that gives it a more "natural" touch, Gt7 has vivid colors but at the same time unrealistic in some occasions. The 2 stand out quite a lot in many things, the only bad thing about Gt7 is the amount of Concept cars that are in each category, while Forza offers a catalog of cars much more varied and modern circuit. For me there is no winner, both look amazing and it would be a matter of taste. Personally I prefer Forza for having better physics which makes the cars more fun to drive.
Forza does nothing better than GT7. Except maybe having fully rendered 3d tress. But they ruin it by throwing them randomly around real world tracks. Also, a 3rd person camera has no bearing on physics. Iracing has stiff 3rd person cameras, you gonna say iracing isn't as real as FM?
Gran Turismo 7 is a cross-gen title as it's on both PS4 and PS5, and not an original PS4 game like Gran Turismo Sport looks like you're high on crack 😂😂😂🤣
Forza 8 looks like shit compared to gtr7. Also turn 10 decided to plaster some of the cars in Forza 8 with the stupid LGBTQ rainbows and the we drive together message sold my Xbox the second I saw that crap so sick of Microsoft and making everything woke.
GT7 does very realistic lighting, reflections, as well as weather effects, while Forza, which remains a very beautiful game, seems to be more arcade for everyone.
Forza is graphically embarrassing but feels a little better in handling gran turismo looks excellent but bad physics, what does it matter Assetto corsa + lfm= glory 😂
The fact that t10 purposely killed the RT on the pc version on FM23 to keep some kind of parity is insane. The final product is nowhere near what they initially showed and there's no way to change in game settings on pc to reach that level of fidelity. It's almost criminal. Its basically watch dogs all over again except the pc version is shit also.
The real big difference we will see with our eyes is with the PlayStation 7, not before For the moment, the Playstation 5 does real graphics, look at the Astro Bot graphics in 4K on the Samsung S95C and you'll tell me the news.
Well it does look far more realistic. Saying that doesn't make someone a fAnBoY. I've taken in-game pictures with no editing and people I know who don't play games say the same thing. Are people who don't play fAnBoYs. I can't even use the in-game editing in Forza to make it look real. I've only seen people use 3rd party apps to highly edit FM to get a realistic look. And about the empty Mulsanne straight....it's really not. Maybe play the game and get a better look at it. GT7 tracks are more authentic to how they appear in real life. Forza creates a party and overdoes it. I say this as a HUGE Forza fan. I have them all since 2005, and pre-order them all with deluxe box physical copies, except the last 2 are digital $100 ultimate editions. That even includes all the Horizon titles as well. So I'm not saying this as a GT7 fAnBoY.
@@joescivic it doesn't make sense, I just watched the real onboard on the mulsanne and forza is better i know gt7 has better core gaming but i play both games and they both suck at physics
@slipkout2155 I play FM pretty much daily. They do a good job at overdoing everything outside the track by adding more trees than the tracks have in real life and give it a party vibe. This track i guess is one of the few that aren't over done in FM. But usually, GT7 is the more authentic one when it comes down to the layout of tracks in and outside, and even accurate tree species and close to the amount of trees with their proper spacing. As much of a Forza fan I am, Forza still looks like a cartoon world. Nothing looks photo realistic, unlike GT7. Especially when Forzas cars look like toy plastic cars.
After watching Forza Motorsport, then watching GT7 feels like a big downgrade. The cars in GT7 look a bit more glossy, but everything else looks so lifeless... The sense of speed, the racing, the flat environments with 2d cardboard trees... PS5 Pro isn't fixing any of that. FM looks and feels better.
If you watch a game and you haven't played it, you can't judge it. I bought GT7 and played it for a while, then I searched for it on TH-cam and saw the clips as if it was another game and nothing like the one I have. You can never judge a game if you haven't played it.
Cars should look glossy because it's a cleaner look. The paint system in GT is realistic. Kodō Red in Mazda is the best example of what the paint should look like. Then, you have the obvious paint materials whenever you choose them. Metallic, Chrome, Matte, Iridescent, etc.
@ i literally have GT7 and my brother has a xbox and has all forzas cause hes a huge Fan lol the only forza which i find the best looking if forza4 this last one looks like they are trying way to hard to make the game look good and im not gonna talk about the physics with a wheel Game drives like need for speed 😂 its nothing personal against you bro the game is just Ass

Both games look bad honestly . GT7 looks a lot worse. Cars look like toys and environments have PS3 level detail. Such an awful game, but cockpit view is much better in GT7 than Forza. I’m surprised people still play these games.
Forza is still just awful! Just look at the wheels when the cars are moving. No details. Pause the games as they are in "game-play" at speed and it clearly shows the lack of definition and resolution of Forza wheels and car models. It's been the same for the last 12 years and they won't fix it.
One thing I hate about Forza is how weak the physics are, especially in the rain, in GT you are certainly playing with a lot of active assistance, which is why it didn't show the instruments, at several points you would have spun through puddles and curbs. Not that Forza is bad, but in the rain (especially) you can abuse the car and controls a lot without any problems, in GT it's chaos, if you don't have experience it's game over. But I like the fog in Forza, I think the GT needs to improve this part of the density of the environment, but the Forza track I think is exaggeratedly full of puddles, that doesn't exist, it's just aesthetics.

@@joescivic You are convincing me to get a Fanatec DD+
@@familialgameaholics7618 It's a pretty penny. $1000 just for the wheel base. Lol.
Forza only win one thing, rainy weather
Forza's quality mode on Xbox is 30 fps 🤣🤣🤣
Meanwhile base PS5 GT7's quality mode is native 4K at a locked 60fps or 80 to 90 fps with VRR and 120hz TV.
I mean, there aren’t many PS5 games that can do 60 fps at native 4k anyway
With the texture popping gt7 has on other cars, it better run smoothly at least
With this poor graphics, Forza would run at 240 fps in Series X. Forza is a next gen game, GT7 is a PS4 game.
Bro forgot GT7 is a cross gen game ofc it can reach higher than 60 fps.
Forza looks better, graphics and physics. GT7 cars move like matchbox...
Graphically it sucks, I agree it feels better but it's full of glitches
Forza does nothing better than GT7. Except maybe having fully rendered 3d tress. But they ruin it by throwing them randomly around real world tracks. Also, a 3rd person camera has no bearing on physics. Iracing has stiff 3rd person cameras, you gonna say iracing isn't as real as FM?
Exactly@@aaronsmith7143I hate the 3rd person camera of Forza. Looks like floating cars steered by a child's hand.
Gt7 🔥🔥🔥
Jogo sem chuva 😂😂😂
GT7 is light years better. It’s not that I have it on my ps5. I also have PC to play Forza, but not interested.😂
forza king 💯
😂😂😂😂😂 i think u need glasses
If we talk about graphs, Hell nah 😂
Don't forget that GT7 is an original PS4 game and that Forza is a "NewGen😂". And just one more thing. GT7 is an IAF game
Gran Turismo 7 is a cross-gen title as it's on both PS4 and PS5, and not an original PS4 game like Gran Turismo Sport
looks like you're high on crack 😂😂😂🤣
As a lifelong Playstation player, and currently on pc, there is nothig quite like gt that can Scratch that itch. I really wish they ported gt7 to pc
Forza 8 looks like shit compared to gtr7. Also turn 10 decided to plaster some of the cars in Forza 8 with the stupid LGBTQ rainbows and the we drive together message sold my Xbox the second I saw that crap so sick of Microsoft and making everything woke.
Youre judging these games off the wrong information m8. Didnt you know playstation supports the lgbt too??
GT7 is a pleasure for the eyes..not only in gaming but also the menus are fantastic!!!!
GT7 does very realistic lighting, reflections, as well as weather effects, while Forza, which remains a very beautiful game, seems to be more arcade for everyone.
GT7 in PSVR2 is crazy on the Pro now.🌌💟
I don't get how fm looks so boring after fh5 isn't the same engine after all?
this footage in Motorsport is definitely less defined and unsaturated than real in-game!
Forza is graphically embarrassing but feels a little better in handling gran turismo looks excellent but bad physics, what does it matter Assetto corsa + lfm= glory 😂
GT7 has excellent physics. ACC also good though.
forza all the way
GT7 smokes Forza
Everything so smooth in Gt7 can't even tell the car is moving trully
not. even. close.
The fact that t10 purposely killed the RT on the pc version on FM23 to keep some kind of parity is insane. The final product is nowhere near what they initially showed and there's no way to change in game settings on pc to reach that level of fidelity. It's almost criminal. Its basically watch dogs all over again except the pc version is shit also.
forza shills will still find a way to defend this slop lmao
The real big difference we will see with our eyes is with the PlayStation 7, not before
For the moment, the Playstation 5 does real graphics, look at the Astro Bot graphics in 4K on the Samsung S95C and you'll tell me the news.
$700 PS5 is for people with OLED monitors. The rest of us that can’t afford that kind of disposable life pass on it.
GT7 hands off
if someone says gt7 is far more realistic is just a fanboy, gt7 looks empty on the Mulsanne Straight still a better game but not that far off
Well it does look far more realistic.
Especially when Forzas cars look like toy plastic cars.
if you wanted to take a photo realistic picture, i would choose gt7.
FM looks and feels better.
what about the car models, and the unrealistic spray? GT7 is much more consistent than fm8, specifically in terms of performance
I feel the opposite lol the car's in Forza look like some Hotweels 🤣
If you watch a game and you haven't played it, you can't judge it. I bought GT7 and played it for a while, then I searched for it on TH-cam and saw the clips as if it was another game and nothing like the one I have. You can never judge a game if you haven't played it.
Cars should look glossy because it's a cleaner look. The paint system in GT is realistic. Kodō Red in Mazda is the best example of what the paint should look like.
Then, you have the obvious paint materials whenever you choose them. Metallic, Chrome, Matte, Iridescent, etc.
@ i literally have GT7 and my brother has a xbox and has all forzas cause hes a huge Fan lol the only forza which i find the best looking if forza4 this last one looks like they are trying way to hard to make the game look good and im not gonna talk about the physics with a wheel Game drives like need for speed 😂 its nothing personal against you bro the game is just Ass
you should compare fm8 with grid autosport not gt7
Gt7 >>>>>>
Gt7 looks miles ahead
Even with highest specs pc cant beat GT7 on ps5 or ps5 pro . Ps5 pro even has more ray tracing . Sounds, Graphics and Stimulation is top on Grand Turismo 7 with ps5 pro its even better .
But gran turismo is not on pc
@KaylenZechariah yeah I know if it was then things could get even better ..
Project Cars 1 and 2 look better than both of these games on max settings, seeing actual gameplay of GT7 it's a letdown compared to how good the screenshots I've seen of it looked.
@@Slyrsu another guy who has never seen how well detailed gt7 is ... i guess you are blind to say that.. play gt for yourself and then speak .. you cant get that experience on youtube . I managed to make the game look even better than screenshots. Say the same thing you said on the channel AutomotiveVP and get the proof to say that project cars 1 and 2 look better...
@@Slyrsu you simply can improve looks of the game 10 times better than what you see in the video. To just make it fair he is using standard default settings.
Forza motorsports is better
Lol, in no way at all what so ever is Forza remotely coming close to Gran Turismo 7
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
GET OU-
if you like Looney Toons ah cartoon style games then yes Forza is better
Your not running raytracing on GT7
Forza was built from the sky down they did a terrible job?
Gt7
I hate the 3rd person camera in Forza. Looks like floating cars steered by a child's hand.
Gran Turismo 7 = Gran Turismo 4 graphics = PS2
Cute
The things we say when we are hurt...
The next 10 Forza games will never reach the beauty of GT 7
Even GT6 is even better than Forza Motorsport lmao
Having hard time coping mate?
One thing I hate about Forza is how weak the physics are, especially in the rain, in GT you are certainly playing with a lot of active assistance, which is why it didn't show the instruments, at several points you would have spun through puddles and curbs.
Not that Forza is bad, but in the rain (especially) you can abuse the car and controls a lot without any problems, in GT it's chaos, if you don't have experience it's game over.
But I like the fog in Forza, I think the GT needs to improve this part of the density of the environment, but the Forza track I think is exaggeratedly full of puddles, that doesn't exist, it's just aesthetics.
forza again much better than shit7 in every single detaile forza too much ahead 😊
forza far more realistic, GT7 too cartoonish
need to go check your eyes 🤣
It’s the other way round bro 🤣
@@Atum1c The build of the forza cars remembers me alot of my hotweels toys i got when i was a little kid lol
@ lmao , you hit the nail on the head ..I thought I recognised those toys rolling down a fake unrealistic road that looks like playdough rolled out with a rolling pin 🤣
forza dynamic 4k and 60 hz lol
