I grew up seeing these types of relationships within my family, on both sides. Some of them had pretty good marriages, others did not. But the thought of each person having their own space (in some capacity) is good. Separate homes may not work for some couples, but it could work for more than what most would imagine. At the end of the day, only mature minded people can thrive and maintain a mature relationship. Nothing works without respect and a genuine connection.
