I couldn't believe what I found at this Estate Sale / Garage Sale!
They had Kenner Star Wars Action Figures, Nintendo 64 Games in the Box, PlayStation 1 games and Xbox Games! I have never seen so many Sealed VHS in one place! I will definitely be able to flip all of this for a profit on my eBay store!

Seller was VERY fair in his thinking. He definitely let you make plenty of money while feeling ok with letting it go for that much. the beauty of the sale!
it's a bit ridiculous when they push you to name a price, and then they suddenly have a price in mind. That dude was a little over-caffeinated. Everybody talking about what a great salesman he was, but sellers like that just stress me out. Especially when interacting with him didn't get the prices any lower.

It's the worst when sellers talk about what they had and sold. It's pointless firstly and It's always funny when they brag to me what they've sold... should I flex after? What's the protocol 😆
anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay. something could have sold for $50000 10 years ago. but if no one else in the world thinks its worth that much it wont sell for that or more again.

I bet some people ask a higher price because they see a camera, which triggers the thought that what you are asking about is worth something.
Sealed pink Dumbo and The Sword in the Stone are good Disney VHS to pick up. At $1 a tape, you can’t go wrong. Obviously, first print with watermarked seal will sell for the most.
That first sale was dope, but the second??? I cannot stand people like this. The guy with the trains. First off, when you walked over, I could tell what kinda person you were when you said, "What would you want on the leftover trains he didn't buy?" Terrible word choice, but I let it go, but I could tell you were hinting around getting them "cheap", which you eventually said out loud. I can understand wanting to get things cheap, but throwing shade in a way that this is the junk the last guy left, I'll take it for $15. That's cool, make an offer, but the guy said no, he needs more, and you continued to insult and say $16, and you think because you kept adding chuckles, you think it's OK. It's not. I can't stand people like you.
You knew they're worth, and you should have kept your laughs and remarks to yourself. This guy is giving you wiggle room to make money, he deserves respect. I'm glad he held firm on you at $35, because you're just too much. Chuckling and laughing while talking down on their stuff as if you're not about to resell it. I'm not subscribed, but I watch videos like this all day and have been doing this for years, and I cannot stand people who are pressured hagglers and liars.
Give people their space, let them make a decision, you're going to resell anyway, so if this person isn't ready and willing, then there's no need in pressuring them to cut their profits to increase yours. Just pure greed. And then when the guy held firm, I didn't like the way you were acting like he won't make a sale without you. That train set would have been gone within the hour for more money. We gotta do better as people. I'm never watching this channel again.
They were both the same sale. The trains were in the barn/shed in the back. I spent over $600 with them total. I wouldn't call what I was doing cheap and I wouldn't call negotiating a better deal when I'm buying so much "greedy". The leftover train stuff wasn't that exciting. I flipped it all as a lot and I'm making an ok return but if I had it to do over again I would not have purchased it at $35.

I bought a lot of new sealed Disney clamshell. I’m getting sales at 11.99 free shipping. Trying to get rid of them. Only a couple black diamond but I will probably pass on them from now. Other VHS can sell really well though.

Edit: just occurred to me he may just have builded inventory over winter to just run yard sales because he’s probably gonna make a few grand for selling things 2/3 to half its value just out of his garage
So, he was apparently liquidating excess items from estates.
$20 pop on Star Wars figs without weapons or accessories is way too much. Yeah the Vader had a cape and light sabre, but a lot of those looked just loose.

You passed up on so many good horror tapes. DEAD HEAT being one of them. It's a great campy zombie film and it's a $25 dollar tape. I have a massive vhs collection and I'm located in Columbus if you would be interested in purchasing. And I have alot of sealed tapes as well

I'm curious how much inventory you have vs actual profit being made? Seems the items would appeal to only certain people. You have to be sitting on items for a long time right? Just asking not trying to come off as rude.
I knew you paid too much for the Star Wars figures. You will be lucky to break even. And I hate to say it but I think you are about to learn a hard lesson on VHS reselling. Even the sealed ones. 😬
I'll make money on both. The margins will be tight on the kenner but I'll do fine on the good VHS in the lot and more than pay for it. Already sold one for 34.99 and we haven't listed a ton of them yet.

@@propicker For the most part, it was priced to move. Haven't hit the estate sales in my area but I can tell this guy had superior offerings and was actually leaving meat on the bone especially any items that wouldn't move instantly if you didn't buy them. Wow! I'd be locked down on their sales...

That was a nice garage sale, but personally, if for reselling purpose, I think you paid a little too much for those loose Star Wars figures specially since there was no accessories with them.
Most has their accessories thankfully. I did pay up for.sure but should do alright on them. Probably would pay a little less or maybe skip if I had it to do over again but at least they'll sell pretty easily.

Lollll I remember blank check but I never actually saw the movie. When I was a kid my best friend's grandma worked at a movie theater selling tickets and popcorn. My best friend's brother had the movie poster for Blank Check in his bedroom when we were kids lol I think their grandma got it after the movie stopped playing in the theater. I'm sure nobody has that poster anymore but I bet those old posters would be valuable today.

Do you ever return to pick the bones after the sale has ended? Seems they might be interested in taking rock bottom prices rather than spending more work and time on dealing with leftovers. If there was ever a sale to do that, it's that one.
Yeah, I'd consider something like that. But, honestly between this and the private pick I had the next day I'm pretty backed up on stuff to list 😅

Great finds per usual Dustin (this one was def special tho) So I just recently bought The Secret Garden on Amazon Prime (the instant download version) for like 4 or 5 bucks cuz I had a wave of nostalgia hit me for it, hard and it was just as I remembered, excellent!! Lol It seems some folks still get wrapped up in the Disney clamshell hype huh? I'm sure the ET he was talking about was legit but I'm pretty sure those Little Mermaids are kinda a dime a dozen right? If I'm not mistaken, cuz I have that VHS too, not sealed though, I very much watched all my Disney movies A LOT! ♥️✌️♥️
There's a banned version of the little mermaid where they pulled a cover and redid it. Not crazy money from what I've seen on ebay but worth more than the normal one.
