I used to be a teacher in Bethany Christian Academy. The owner Osagie Ogbomo God bless him. He was part of the people who mentored and shaped me. I remember when he gave me my first job. He asked me if I could handle it because I was very small. My first week I impressed him and he just took me under his wings. God bless Osagie Ogbomo.
🙌🙌🙌🙌. I didn't know his name but I know him. He is very down to earth and relates with everyone in the area. We only exchanged pleasantries when we pass each other. His spouse work(s)(ed) in UBTH if I'm not mistaking. Bless him.

Wowwwwww I stayed in Soweto hostel (just directly behind that assemblies of God church). attended that assemblies of God church from 2007-2012.... Ekosodin has changed wowwwwww 😮😮😮😮
I remember soweto hostel. 2012😂😂😂😂 Ekosodin was in a mess then
Government need to make people work on their surroundings and do more of interlink roads because seeing those sands in the road is not encouraging at sll
The community and even shop owners by those side of the road can do better too.

I must share my appreciation for this video. I had to rewind a few times to recognise landmarks from my era then 1999-03) like twins hostel, aso rock which is next ro Newton. I could not pick out the Rates hostel which was just before Aghedo. Very Nostalgic i must say. 28:21 the custard colour looking hostel was if you know you know.. Crown height i tink was the name. Dont quote me on the name might be wrong..
12:02. That yellow hostel there is :derate Hostel". It's a really big hostel I recall. You tried to remember most of the names. It has been ages you left Ekos.
If you dint point it out wont have noticed it. What time does. As at then that was one of the expensive ones. Back then Kaha the musician used to stay there, around same time Basketball mouth resisded at a hostel in Tedeye street. Did you ever encounter Omo B (Benson)?
Thanks for honouring my call to make a video on Ekosodin. The road was so bad and ungraded when i stayed at Ekosodin between 2001 and 2004 when i was at UNIBEN as an undergraduate. I stayed at Dodan Barracks. Not sure I can recognise the hostel from your video.
