I love how open Madonna was with her work during this phase of her career. There seemed to be such great synergy in the studio, which helped make ROL such a great record. And Kurt Loder conducted the best Madonna interviews(they share a dry sense of humor).
Madonna is really lovely here. William Orbit is a genius. I love his work, especially on Beautiful Stranger (Madonna), Black Coffee (All Saints) or Feel Good Time (P!nk).
Always loved the sound they got on this album. The bass and synths on little star are superb. What a great combination Madonna and Orbit were on this production.
I get the impression that Madonna can only function socially if she dominates everyone. I really wanted to hear what the genius that is William Orbit had to say and she just pissed all over him.

Agree. The way she talked over him or instead for him, rather than letting orbit answer the questions himself was irritating to watch.
I get the impression that she'd cry in a fetal position the second she was told to stop acting like a a kid telling jokes and be serious for a minute.
