The Big Agnes Pumphouse Ultra is one of the most useful accessories you can purchase for your Rapide SL, Boundary Deluxe, Q-Core Deluxe, or other sleeping pad. Filling a large air mattress like these with your lungs is not the recommended way to go. Pull the inner layer out when pumping with this sack. That's what it was designed for. No need to roll it down to push air in, just mash it in with reckless abandon. Much faster. When I first picked up this pumpsack, I wasn't sure if it was worth it. Now I consider it one of my best purchases. Nearly weightless, dry bag, huge pumpsack, makeshift shower, sack for my sleeping pad. Great piece of kit.

Nitecore AP10 made something similar to the Exped Widget (no cellphone charging function), but Nitecore is a pretty reliable flashlight/charger manufacturer so it probably won't have the button problems the Exped has. Might be worth a shot too. It can pump for 40 minutes per charge.

Very true! I didn't even expand the inner bag during this demo. When you do, it's almost double the capacity!

Pull out the inner gray liner. That makes it the Ultra pumphouse. You capture 2x the air for filling the mattress.

for the price of the pads, big agnes should be including the pumphouse ultra with each pad instead of the garbage thing they pass off as a pump sack that they include normally.

That would certainly be nice! But then again, for the price of the bike, Arpilia should include a "real" bash plate instead of the flimsy piece of sheet metal they pass off for one on the Tuareg 660. But hey, such is life my friend. 😁
