Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: Finale and End Credits - Original Movie Score

At long last, here comes my cinematic cut (made with Audacity) of the glorious finale and end credits from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, composed and orchestrated by Maestro John Williams in 1989.
There is some tweaking I need to do, but I thought I should at least share an early draft of this re-cut version, hoping that you may enjoy its vibrancy and energy!

This was the perfect ending to a great trilogy. No reason to ever make more. The search for the grail is the ultimate desire for all, no need to make anything else. Atlantis would be the only exception but it's too late now.

The Atlantis story was excellently used in Fate of Atlantis (1992). This was (is) a wonderful game because its creator, Hal Barwood, worked on cinema and cooperated with Spielberg and Lucas, and knew how to set up a cinematic narrative arc for the game. However, for a clever analysis of the notorious fourth Indy film, I recommend watching the Plinkett review. Now Harrison is almost 80 and, even if they rejuvenate him with CGI, I have sort of lowered my expectations for the new instalment.

Was just commenting on another video of the finale and end credits how it's annoying how the sound track version differs from the film. In the film when that main theme kicks in it is just epic. On the sound track it's more subdued for lack of a better term and doesn't just kick into high gear as it does in the film. This is definitely closer to how it should be.

Thank you! I think that the track we find in the remastered soundtrack is what John Williams actually recorded back in 1989 (if you watch the documentary, you'll see the maestro directing that track as the finale plays on a big screen). Luckily, they decided to rearrange the track it in the way we have it, which feels far more compelling.
