I have FINALLY fixed my issue! Turned out to be a driver and hardware issue. I have an R9 280x tri-3 and my friend yanked out his R9 270x, installed it to my rig, powered it up and what do you know? Gta fired right up after a proper driver install. I then put my 280 back in and it worked to! Although I have tried several times to install the AMD driver, yanking the GPU and pitting it back in did the trick

i have that problem everytime i overclock my gpu when i put it to stock nothing happens i overclock it and it freezes
when I was playing it, it only freezes for 3 secs. and keeps doing it every 10 secs.
same with me, did you find a fix?
I think I refreshed the files or got a new pc, I don't remember. try both, I guess.

I play GTA 5 on console and I never had a freeze once the entire time I played it on xbox one.

You can maximize the game settings through properties, it's probably set on windowed

Tech-View unfortunately, your specs would have a hard time processing the game. You would also need a decent graphics card if you want quality

download a game save for it. Than place into the folder, delete your saved game and open gta
