I have the Randy 525 and it's starting to do what yours was doing cutting off at wrong times but I've been dealing with it, my question to you is was your old one the tnd 525 and does the new one have the same features as the tnd525 if that was the one you had?

@@thelifeofmerckid true story. I asked Rand McNally to move the power adapter to the side on the next iteration so I could do just this. The very next build had made the change.😁
@@thelifeofmerckid if you can return it and exchange it you can! I got the Garmin OTR 700 and it was way too small for me and i exchanged it at loves and payed the difference!

Ok I just bought the 750 Randy but it wants me to get off and take unnecessary turns but it's cool

It’s good gps but it won’t stay charged even plugged up
That’s exactly how my old gps was…battery on it was trash
My tnd 540 started dieing on me in December so I got a tnd 550 . Now I have to go to college and figure out how use it.
I like the 550…I just wish it was bigger

I velcro'd mine to my dashboard. Keeps it away from the sun and also keeps it from bouncing around. The battery is their built in point of failure.
The velcro is a great idea because mines definitely bounce in that window holder

It’s good…I’m loving it…I just wish I got the 750 for the bigger screen but other then that it’s good
That looks like an iPhone 4 compared to my Mammoth sized Garmin GPS 😂 i got the Garmin OTR 1000, hope the Rand McNally it’s treating you well!
