Quite impressive preparation! How the seats have been lowered? All the fucnctions are still there? Regarding Kelford Cams and springs, really are so beneficial without any ECU tuning? Very interesting
I have the airtec stage 1 with all the airtec pipes, Inc turbo inlet, mongoose OPF delete, enhanced rear exhaust. Think i will get it mapped, at Litchfields, ecutec? The said they could get, 340,from what u are saying is about right, cams maybe 20hp more.
Awesome project! The only thing I am surprised at is the stock seats still remain. Possibly the most disappointing and under-discussed part of the stock GR Yaris.
311.6 PS with just hardware is really nice, I assume most of the power gains are from the removal of the OPF/GPF, right? I would love to do that too when I get mine but you just can't do that when you live in ZH / AG, if I was to be stopped by police they'd probably just arrest me on the spot if they noticed xD
No. Most comes from the Cams/Valve Springs. OPF removal is only necessary over 340hp. We can nearly generate that power with an extreme sleeper build if you want one. 😉

I have what might seem like a strange question, but how much power could you get with a stock exhaust and those mods? Why stock? I'm getting old and driving around with a droning exhaust isn't as exciting as it used to be. How much of a limitation would it be?
Not a big difference to this car. Stock exhaust also works with around 400hp. With OPF etc. is the limit roughly 340hp. I drove with my car with over 380hp and the stock exhaust from OPF/GPF back. So we can build you a perfect sleeper with 340hp. 😉
Great news, what max boost did u run, I have intercooler, OPF delete, hardpipe kit, MST,only making 113hp, with a map that obliviously not working, Need it mapped to all my mods , should be 330/340?
Max. Boost is depending on the Mods. Depending on what downpipe, intercooler etc. you run, should maybe have 320/330hp. There are cheap, shit Intercooler which doesn‘t make anything better than the stock one.
I have a question regarding the ÖHLINS suspension front strut tower mounts. You’ve used the DNA-Racing-style top mounts in your race car, do I have to buy these top mounts separately or are they included in the ÖHLINS road and track kit TOS MW00S1?
@@grahamhaynes7658 absolutely agree. If you want very aggressive cams and go above 400hp, i‘d also recommend a Syvecs. Syvecs is great and gives you more options for sure, but for that project it would be a bit overkill.

Hi

I have what might seem like a strange question, but how much power could you get with a stock exhaust and those mods? Why stock? I'm getting old and driving around with a droning exhaust isn't as exciting as it used to be. How much of a limitation would it be?
I think you don't get much unless you tune the ecu to accompany the mods🤓
@@jasoncee666 Understand that. What I'm asking is minus the exhaust mods, what power could you get.

@@RotheliRacing Sounds good. Only problem is you'd need to come to Australia to do it :) Thanks for the answer though. Really appreciate it.
Hi. What's the approximate power gain from changing with just the HJS Downpipe and Exhaust? Thank you.
Nothing. Maybe 5/6Hp.
You need a software to get the 10-15hp from the Downpipe.

Google HJS exhaust
Hi, when replacing the camshafts and springs, did you also replace the head stud?
Hi
No. We don‘t remove the head.
do you think it is not necessary? Will there be a problem with the head?
@@dariuszkosmider3185 no, not necessary. Only if you go all in with over 400hp it‘s recommended.

They‘re from DNA, not from Öhlins.
So you have to buy them seperately.
Hi Phill, what version cams are in there? I'm looking at hardware now for an ECUTek RaceROM tune up ahead of track season this year.
Hi
It‘s the Drop-In‘s. The EZP Version.

No silly question.
It‘s at the crank.

We mapped the OEM ECU.
Syvecs or Motec has much more features, but for that power level, Syvecs would be Overkill.
