I like the fact that it has a small cut out near the drain plug to drain the last bit of old oil, great design! more manufactures should consider this.

Any thoughts on changing the front bumper to something “long nose” like the Rally 1 cars?

Nice…. I just Order the Lamspeed Kit.. Can someone tell me where i can find the Torque-Specs for all the bolts to install it? And also the Torque for the oilpanbolts…? Thanks
@@bikergangstar6585 you should get an Installation Manual with the Kit. You‘ll certainly get one with our Oil Pan. 😉

with my HEL track cooler i see 105c after a 15-20 minute session in 25C day. even another 5-10c oil temp racing on a 36c day is still well with the oil performance window for Motul 300v. so the oil pickup is in the same location and not droppped lower, you are simply adding more oil to take heat from the motor? be intersteing to see your data on how much cooler everything is. lovely looking bit of kit! 🙂
@@davehanna1540 yeah. We added just more oil, to get some more stress out of the engine. For some people who don‘t track their car regularely, it might be even enough without an additional oil cooler, if someone doesn‘t like the idea of an oil cooler.
Hi Phil. Great looking kit ! Thanks for uploading the video. Can't wait to see the result of the tests including tests of the extra cooling feature through the service access of the under-engine cover. V*ery keen on buying one !

looks like a nice kit! you forgot lots of bad words when removing the OEM pan as the Toyota sealant is very strong.
@@mrmorizofan7001 hahaha. Yeah. The bad words would hurt my Children-Friendly Channel reputation. 🤣🙈😂
Can you still use the car's under-engine cover? It would be nice to see if it's now a lower point under the car
@@DanielHernandezBC yes you can still reuse the OEM Under Engine Cover. The Subframe is still roughly 10mm lower than the oilpan.
Looks like a top quality part, well done. Would there be an issue with the extra oil capacity in normal road use where in cooler climates the oil won’t reach optimum temp under normal driving?
@@vivid4724 good question. But no. Even with our Huge Oil Cooler Kit, the oil reaches during winter 80 degrees easily. So with only the extra oil capacity you‘ll need maybe an extra few minutes until you reach 80 degrees.

My heart sank when the video first started as I literally just installed the Lamspeed baffle plates, but it's great to hear it will work with the new sump. Will watch the results with interest.
That‘s exactly why we designed them with the baffle plates. 😁 There are many people who already have them, so no need to get rid of them.
Hey Phil, if the baffles work, what was the need for the extra capacity? Is it oil temps or just insurance?
@@woznaldo oil temps. Even with the oil cooler we‘re now getting to the limit of the system. And some people might not wanna have an oil cooler and could maybe get away with just the increased volume without an additional oil cooler.
@@RotheliRacing Will you test it with and without the cooler? That would be very useful information to have. I haven't installed a cooler yet, but it's one of the next mods I'll do. If this is another option it would be great to know.
@@bcm70 no we won‘t test it without an oil cooler. On our power level even with the oil cooler, it‘s just not enough. And removing or putting in the oil cooler during a trackday is just not possible. BUT, you can install them, test it without an oil cooler and if it‘s not sufficient, you can just add an oil cooler later. 😉
Really a nice piece of engineering, can´t wait for mine to arrive!

Would it not be possible to remove those canard bits off the rear wing, like you, i dont like them. It would be far nicer smoothed then painted. Maybe sand them off ?

Hi, I saw you have tried the Ohlins coilover and I would like to know does your TC105X 9,5x18" +45 with 265 tire touch the Ohlins damper (within -2 camber)?

@@DanielHernandezBC yeah i‘ll do that. 😉
Looking forward to the Airtec install and your thoughts :)
Hi Phil hast Du richtig erkannt.
be careful the "bronze filter" in the catch can , it may too restrict for the air to pass though ...
@@inwoodplace will have an eye on it. Thanks. 👍
But the cardan shaft is really super tight on the body. Don't you think that the permanent impact of the shaft on the body might cause strong vibrations in the shaft, causing it to break? Is your car too low?

@@manuopc7020 yes. Can‘t corrode if there can‘t be any air or moisture.
Great video! What would be the symptoms of the broken sensor? Just a fault code? I am asking because I have a very particular issue on my car which maybe is related to the sensor but I don't get any fault codes...
@@sebastiangradinariu8321 your engine also will start to „misfire“ or stutter or at least it will feel like it.
@@RotheliRacing Wow, that's exactly what is happening with mine..it starts from around 4500 rpm and continues until redline, it "stutters" for a couple of seconds and then be okay, but I have no code yet, the service guys are clueless to what could be the issue as coil packs have already been changed and it made no difference. I was thinking injectors as some forum posts pointed out but they are not ready to make such a big leap without some concrete evidence... maybe this sensor is the answer?
@@sebastiangradinariu8321 this sounds exactly like that. 👍 If you get a new sensor, make sure they fill it up before installing it or it‘s just a matter of time before it happens again. 😅
