It's the teachings of Jesus in particular people need to pay attention to. After all, how can we say He's our Lord and Master if we don't do the things He said? (Luke 6:46)

The strongest Christian families I've ever witnessed have put God first, the spouse next, and the kids last, in the order of respect at least, always placing Him in the highest. For God is our Father, but God is also our Creator, the Almighty. We should choose to love and respect Him in the highest my friends, above all, always. May all glory be to Him!

I love the part about giving everything up for God HAPPILY. God wants us to give everything for Him (Luke 14:33), and in that sense it is a 'duty'. But when we realize what we get in forsaking all for Christ, there should be a JOY in such a blessed opportunity! God loves a CHEERFUL giver - not one who merely feels obligated. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

the CORRECT WAY.... US...... PLEASING HIM-->

One of the great beauties of the gospel is that we become Jesus's blameless gift to the Father, the Father's gift to Jesus, and we can know Him here on this earth and be in Him and enjoy Him. (John 17) There is no mutual exclusivity to love- God loves and enjoys those who are His, and those who know Him are free to love and enjoy Him as well.
Drinking the living water of this truth is the end of all thirsting. That is to say, that once we know the glories of God in the gospel, other "wants" fall to the wayside as we continue to love and pursue Him and His will for us.

It is of great sadness to hear people proclaiming about Jesus the Christ while not obeying what He commanded.
Jesus gave the Holy Law of Love to must obey and be saved whose foundation is " Love one another and all the creatures of God. Love is the fulfilling of the law for love is of God and God is Love."
Therefore, all those who still devour their mouths with flesh meat and blood of God's innocent animals, are not at all True disciples of Christ.
God is Good, Just and Bountiful and ordains that you all should be sustained by the fruits of the earth alone. Genesis 1:29
Strait is the gate to Heaven. Yea, Narrow is the path and very few shall find it.
Let them who have ears hear.
    Peace and love.

Romans 14:1-3 The Lord also commands animal sacrifices and the slaughter of Passover lambs in the Old Testament.
Animals do have moral value. Animal abuse is evil and sinful. When God gave man dominion over "all creation", He gave the lives of animals into our hands as well. Therefore the moral value of animal life is derived from the way it serves or hinders man's role in creation. A rabid dog is a danger to man, a service dog is an amazing companion, and many animals are good for food. Man can assert his dominion over the creatures of creation by eating what is good for him, observing its beauty, using them to his benefit through domestication, and by protecting himself from wild threats.
Genesis 1:29 is God's will for man in the context of a perfect world, and in itself does not even prohibit the eating of meat. (Probably because death had not yet entered the world.) After the fall, the domestication of livestock for food is never prohibited, despite being frequently referenced.

Brother Stephen, indeed you don't know the god you worship. You worship Satan the god of death and bloodshed.
Who told you God commanded people concerning blood sacrifices?
      Read here: Jeremiah 7:22-25
For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices,
But this thing commanded I them saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God and ye shall be my people and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well into you.
      Read also Isaiah 1:11
These verses are in complete opposition with the corrupted words found in Exodus chap 24 and Chap 29
and why is that? the corruption of the bibles. There are two Gods speaking in the same bible. The Loving God of Truth and the god of lies, Satan.
Blessed are they who discern the Truth.
Furthermore, we have to redefine the word " Dominion here". Indeed you have defined it to suit your wicked needs and practices.
Having dominion does not at all imply killing and slaughtering at all. It means you are to rule and take care of the Creatures.
God 's Creatures are our Fellow brothers in the Household of God. woe unto you ignorant ones who inflict pain and suffering on them for you shall mourn and weep.
As you do unto them. so do you do unto God and Christ for THE HOLY ONES rejoice in their happiness and suffer when they also suffer.
Again as you do unto them, so shall it be done unto you in your next life. FOR YOU REAP AS YOU SOW.
as you fish, so shall you be fished. as you roast, so shall you be roasted. as you slaughter, so shall you be slaughtered.
Let them who have ears, hear.
      Peace and love.

"If we pick and choose for ourselves what God has said, then it is not God we trust, but ourselves."
I'm sure that any more scripture I could bring up would be dismissed, so I don't think our disagreement can get anywhere. As Paul said through the Spirit in the Romans passage I already mentioned, I don't "despise" or judge you. Just disagree.

Brother, if you want to be a disciple of Christ, you must completely abstain from the eating of flesh and blood. What I am telling you is a lesser Truth and you can't keep it? If you you can't keep the lesser mysteries, who shall entrust you with the greater?
Nay, they just in less are also just in much and they unjust in less are also unjust in much.
      2. And Iesus said unto them, “Verily I say unto you, they who partake of benefits which are gotten by wronging one of God's creatures, cannot be righteous, nor can they touch holy things, or teach the mysteries of the kingdom, whose hands are stained with blood, or whose mouths are defiled with flesh.
      3. “God giveth the grains and the fruits of the earth for food, and for righteous man truly there is no other lawful sustenance for the body.
      4. “The robber who breaketh into the house made by man is guilty, but they who break into the house made by God, even of the least of these are the greater sinners. Wherefore I say unto all who desire to be my disciples, keep your hands from bloodshed and let no flesh meat enter your mouths, for God is just and bountiful, who ordaineth that man shall live by the fruits and seeds of the earth alone.
Let they who have ears, hear.

Its only in realizing how desperately wicked and vile we are at the core of our being that the cross is good news. The biggest lie most people believe is that man is basically good. But God is holy and perfect, and when we compare ourselves with the perfect standard of righteousness every human falls massively short. So nothing we do can ever even come close to meeting Gods righteousness; we are filthy sinners... But God in His great love and mercy dwelt among us in human flesh. Jesus lived a perfect life so He could be a perfect sacrifice for imperfect sinners. He earned the perfect righteousness for us and completely took our sin and shame so we could be completely free and forgiven. And now we love Him because He first loved us. Religion is - if I obey, I will be accepted. The gospel is - I am accepted so I obey out of the great love that God has shown for sinners...

Anthony I just don’t really understand what seems like a sudden change from the OT to the NT, like God seems kinda mean in the OT but suddenly nice in the NT. And sometimes God kills people for what seems like small things, like Ananias and sapphire when they lied to the Holy Spirit, and I remember when I read that I was afraid because I’ve probably done worse in my life.

    • @danieljrjang5873

@@danieljrjang5873 people ask why do bad things happen to good people, but the better question is why do good things happen to bad people. Again God is not like us. He is completely holy and perfect, and we are not. That being said, the evil and suffering in the world can seem harsh at times and we cant know on this side of eternity why God allows some things that He does, but in the cross we can see that God hasnt abandoned us in our suffering. He emptied Himself of His glory and became one of us and suffered more than any of us and ultimately bore our wrath that we deserve. He didn't have to, and yet He did.

Paul was an apostle sent by Jesus, (Acts 9:15-16 & Romans 1:1), and confirmed by Peter, who walked with Jesus, as an author of Scripture, (2nd Peter 3:15-16)
Jesus is the bread of life and living water, amen. And we can come to know Him through our reading of His inspired Scriptures, which were given as truth unto sanctification (John 17:17)
