My Grandpa passed away years ago, he was an incredible musician and a huge Tony Bennett fan.. without mentioning how great he was as a human being. Right now, looking at my Idol and his idol work together on these legendary songs.. it's like a dream come true. Sometimes it's even weird.. because it's like having my granpa here again with me. I think that the most important thing is that Lady Gaga is opening a new music horizon to her youngest fans singing songs as "Lush Life" and all the "Cheek To Cheek" tracks. For this reasons, i will always be grateful to her and Tony. I repeat myself: we have to protect an artist like her. stop bitching on her work, and embrace her talent.

Her vocals are best in Jazz but i love when she makes pop music. She’s always said she has two hearts (because of her aunt passing) and i believe she does aswell. The Lady part then there’s Gaga.
I really wish people would stop comparing her to other artists (on both sides of the fence). There is no need. Every pop star has something that makes them unique, whether it's songs that are relatable, knowing your audience, singing, dancing, etc. None of them would have made it big if they didn't have a marketable feature. The main thing to take from this video is that her voice shines and while she was a pop juggernaut for quite some time, she wants to start expanding her audience and I think it's perfect for this stage of her career. Being "the weird pop girl" isn't really exciting anymore, and I would love to share her music with my parents and brothers, but quite frankly songs like Swine and Artpop wouldn't really get their interest. I'm not suggesting she stops making controversial songs altogether, I just think toning it back a bit and showcasing her talent is way more valuable at this point then trying to shock people anymore.
