Fabric is one of my favorite things to decoupage because of how easy it is to get a smooth finish, can move around easily, and it soaks up the glue so well that when it is stuck down it is rock solid. The thickest material I have used was a very heavy upholstery fabric. I just soaked it with watered down glue and it was perfect.
You are a treasure and I am lucky to have found your videos. Your lifestyle is something I aspire to ❤. Taking art in college ruined my passion and you have truly helped me in my journey to find it again. Thank you.
I just found your channel today! Have now watched every video ...and find myself wishing for more! I'm amazed at all the beauty you create, your eclecticism and impressive productivity! Oh My Goodness, these took my breath away! They’re stunning, unique, and incredibly fabulous. You are extremely talented! I was drawn, especially, to the forest lady, but adore them allI!
I would love to see a tour of your art studio, your house and your yard. I see a little bits and pieces of it in the background in your videos and in the very beginning of the videos.
Thanks Griselda, good to know your still out there in the universe! You were my first fan 😝 and yes the trays have been in the shed for 28 yrs so about time they got up cycled…pity about yours xx

Hi, Thankyou for that…if you go back to my previous videos , just before this one there is a tutorial on making concrete objects…I made 20 of these white concrete heads from a mannequin,to have fun with. The videos take you through the process in the cheapest, easiest way possible. It is a great way to make multiples. I doubt anyone makes them for sale, cheers Joy
Hi, there is no glue…i use Resene acrylic polyurethane…so water based not solvent based poly, glues and seals the fabric at the same time…good luck, Joy
Hi, thanks for that, the vases are technically sealed but in case they get punctured I would play safe and use a waterproof liner eg plastic drink bottle/ milk container with their tops cut off and use that inside the vase, cheers Joy
Your fans miss you Joy

I love your work and your Tortorella makes it look so easy . Are the vases water proof or are they just for dry flowers ?
