Wow! I love the strips of magazine pages to create collage paper!
It’s fun isn’t it? You never know what it will turn out like, and I love the different shades and tones… 😊
You are amazingly talented and generous in sharing your skill. Thank you
My pleasure 😊 Thank you for your kind comment
I am really enjoying your videos. You are so generous with your teaching! Thank you. I am happy to watch multi-part videos, even if they are separated by some time. :)
You are so welcome! Thank you for your comment. :)
I love the way you recycle envelopes, magazines and Christmas cards, especially your brilliant idea to make cards into a sketchbook - I have a lifetime of cards from my mother’s home so that might be a great way to treasure them. I have made collages from junk mail as well after reading an online challenge to make a junkmail collage from whatever came in the door that day - sometimes only one piece! Pizza flyers make lovely grungy material when you paint brown paint on them, press the pages together and pull apart - whatever kind of ink they use it reacts in all sorts of unexpected ways and the text shows through here and there too. Anyway, thanks for your happy and inspiring videos. 🙏😍🎨
Thank you for your lovely comment. Using junk mail is great idea... I'll definitely be doing a tutorial on that :) Love the idea of the pizza flyers...
How fun! Thanks for the inspiration. I can't wait for part two! ❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for your kind comment ❤
Love love love your collage pieces. So much fun. Can’t wait to give it a go. I’ll have to look to see how you created your own collage book with cards from friends. Great idea and use of the cards of which I have many.
Thank you 🙏 what a lovely comment 😊
Wonderful!
Yay! So excited to watch this!
I’m so pleased! 🎉❤
Great video, I can't wait to give this try 🙏
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for your comment :)
This was brilliant
Thank you :)
Really fun video. A cheap alternative to a gel plate is using a silicon baking mat - I haven't tried it yet but would be interesting to have a go!
Thank you... that's a really good idea... I'll try using a silicon baking mat! :)
I have tried the baking mat...and you don't get images that print as well as the gel plate. I think it's because the plate is thicker and more pliable. However, you can still get interesting papers.
FUN! Also, the strips bear no resemblance to the original images, so you wouldn't have copyright issues.
Absolutely :)
I would love two know how you got the mat surrounding your "January" collage to match. It's lovely.
Hello… I painted and printed the mount myself. I’m working on a tutorial on presentation, hopefully it will be released next week… thank you for watching 😊🙏
I love your work and I will be watching more. But I will never watch 2 Parters, so highly disappointed because you said it would probably be in 2 parts, but you would try to get them in together. That is the only reason I watched it.I hate two Parts and will never watch them
Thank you for your comment. I’m so pleased you like my work. Sometimes, life gets in the way and what we plan just can’t happen. I aimed to have both parts out on the same day, so I achieved that. 🙏😉
@@CateFieldmy goodness some people just forget they are getting free tutorials that the teachers spend a lot of their time producing for little to no money!! Honestly such an ungrateful person.
Please know that I am very gratful for however you want to spend your time to teach your hard earned knowledge. Thank you ❤
