for the time they were aired, these 90's shows shows were revolutionary. it's only looking back on them you realise just how great they were. and Chris has not yet been surpassed. BRING THIS SHOW BACK
This is the very embodiment of 90s hedony. Noel off his knackers on coke, audience roaring with laughter at anecdotes so unamusing that they also must've been, a general sense of wellbeing and optimism that promised eternity, yet failed to make it to the millenium, as glorious and fleeting as the effects of Noel's insufflated psychotropes of choice... Wonderful viewing. Noel has bettered with age. He demostrated all the class back then of luke-warm Special Brew/urine marinating cigg-butts in the afternoon sun, but these days passes as a Chateau Duras '78. In every way, as obnoxious as his pre-implant tooth stubs, and, seen out of context, he cuts the figure of what, essentially (but not veritably), he is visibly trying to appear as: a really common d**k head with a class complex as unsightly as his jewellery. But it's more than forgiveable, and perhaps even adds to this trip. He is a truly brilliant songwriter, with such a musical talent and gift at plucking out the melodious and memorable, which he knows, one senses he overcompensates his unease at not being as ordinary as his entourage by trying too hard to be ordinary. Genius tunesmith. Thanks, Noel Gallagher.
This is in Belsize Park Gardens, London NW3. Noel had just bought a million pound house two streets south of there in Steeles Road. He called it 'Supernova Heights.'
Course but he managed to keep the conversation going and made sense, and according to the paper at the time, he stayed to make sure he signed stuff for the audience. Nice of him to do that
He definately had his teeth done but I don't know about anything else. Personally, I think he could use a little tightening, but I adore every inch of him no matter what he does. I do however know that he is absolutely high here, glad to see he's had his fun...
***** Not really. Ocean Colour Scene's "The Riverboat Song" was only played on TFI Friday when introducing guests. The's show's actual theme tune was the same one as 60's TV series, "Man In A Suitcase".
this show was slightly before my time, but i fucking love the theme tune song (playing as he walks up and into the house) someone please tell me artist / track, i'd really appreciate it xx
The mid90's were so cool. Chat show hosts were cool, hosted cool shows with even cooler guests. Britain was in party-mode and everyone was invited. What do we have now, Johnathan Ross with his nose rammed firmly up some c-list celebrity's arse telling them how 'gweat' they are and that he 'woves all their stuff'.
Ive just finished reading Tony Mcarrols Oasis The Truth, and his story differs from mr Noel Gallagher, seemingly a band called Real People helped him along to write some good tunes...................
2:40 "Awwwwwhhhhh". What do you mean Awwwwhhhh? He doesn't need sympathy, lol. He got to sit in the hut and write songs instead of working. And now we get to enjoy those songs and he gets to be rich!

One of the best interviews ever!
Grew up with this show. Miss the '90s.
Walks in to the riverboat song! Nice one Chris!
Two of the graetest bands of all time.
Noel's so funny. He always makes interviewers look stupid like they have no sense of humour.
Loves it.
Love it. Remember this like it was yesterday. Nostellga kicks in. Noel gallagher legend..
The Riveboat Song by Ocean Colour Scene

sean Mitten It won't be long, man.
A change is a' coming.
he's the best interviewee since Orson Welles.
Between their 2nd and 3rd album, Oasis was at their height.
Noel's jokes are funny! Love that Pizza Hut gag everytime!
How can a man who writes such beautiful songs wear such heinous shoes
You can imagine the stunned silence that would have followed if he'd played either of those new tunes...
Hillclimber001 I hope I think I know is ok
I thought exactly that at the time!!
He definately had his teeth done but I don't know about anything else. Personally, I think he could use a little tightening, but I adore every inch of him no matter what he does. I do however know that he is absolutely high here, glad to see he's had his fun...

They always played this song on TFI Friday. They played it for all their guests.
This is the most exciting interview ever, every 10 seconds there is something that i need to laugh about :)
'Cause he's a national fucking treasure who's written music that's gonna be remembered long after our grandchildren have ceased living.
this show was slightly before my time, but i fucking love the theme tune song (playing as he walks up and into the house)
someone please tell me artist / track, i'd really appreciate it xx

Watched it for 2min. and am stopping here.
I remember this, it was a bank holiday special from Chris' house. At the height of his vulgar egotistical 90s britpop sycophantic era.
same music though!
Ive just finished reading Tony Mcarrols Oasis The Truth, and his story differs from mr Noel Gallagher, seemingly a band called Real People helped him along to write some good tunes...................
