Nice list! Playing desires for a pretty long time in this deck myself, i like it alot. I think 1 kurikara 1 Dogoran and 2 of jiaolong will be the way im playing the deck. The Addition of slayer is a great Thing and really benefits the deck. Thanks for your Inspiration!
I don't really like desires instead of Prosp. I understand the point about wanting to keep your ED, but I feel like I always want to be diving for a specific card (usually Razen or a way to get to Razen), drawing 2 randoms is not as good.
I do like prosperity however drawing two is so nice in this deck. Prosperity is good game one however if you go second game 2/3 it’s not very good due to Ultimate slayer
Really nice list. I also don't like prosperity too much in this deck. It conflicts with Borger draw and burn and the ED is more valuable than one might think. In testing I really did like three Durendal instead of any pots, because I only really want to search Razen anyway and Durendal does it better than any pot.
The extra really isnt as important as your making it seem. Is it important? yes ofc but not that much if your banishing 6 just banish the 6 you dont need, in this guys case all the ultimate slayer targets. Does it conflict with borger draw? yeah sure technically but id rather dig for 6 and get a card I need or a floodgate i need like TCBOO and miss out on a draw for one turn.
I Never thought I would use Jialongs Battle position change effect….then I played against Flunder first thing in the morning and learned putting bagooshka back to Def is great.
I really like no Prosp. This deck is already expensive enough as is lmao. Any thoughts on Forbidden Droplets? Between Jiaolong, Razen, Mad Love, and Borgar, you'll be accruing a lot of hand advantage and Droplets seems like a good option to turn those cards in hand into interruption (if the cards aren't interruptions already)
I agree with not playing Prosperity. Not a fan of Desires though. Contemplating trying Pinpoint Landing instead but not sure how much I’ll be special summoning during my turn unless it’s to dodge an Imperm or something. Still like playing Imperm too
TCBO was good in the last format, agree. Post AGOV we will have most likely Tear and Rescue Ace as tier 1 deck, maybe Branded CHimera aswell. TCBO does nothing or very little against these decks. Siding it is the way to go imo.

Shifter isnt great in this deck. Sure it locks out tear for a turn, but this deck likes to grind, and the board it sets up using shifter is generally smaller then what youd wanna end on. Yeah you can otk but that requires shifter + razen + some attributes, so like 2.5-3 card combos
Awesome deck profile as always! Just a couple of questions. You don't play the new trap? Opinion on small world vs desires? And maybe consider EEV over anti-spell? I like shifter a lot, its a turn skip for most decks. More impactful than crow imo
good questions in curious on as well. I can answer a few of them for you if you dont mind. The trap conflicts with fenrir and with that not many earths its only an easy trigger if you get your engine going. I personally like Small World, but I can understand the value behind the +1 in desires. In testing I didn’t like shifter a lot, it puts you in a situation where if you dont get your engine rolling or you get stopped then you’ll be behind your opponent because both rock and continue are unuseable for that turn.
I actually prefer 2 kurikara and 1 dogoran mainly bcs mad love can loop him with the right set up and sometimes u need to get rid of a problem card instantly instead of waiting for ur opp to interrupt u and especially good against purrley cuz some purrley players play around kurikara
clean good looking list. i went for 2 jiaos but maybe 3 is the way. i like desires so much more over prosp in this deck due to borger. and one thing im still unsure about is small world. it boosts your consistency extremely well but sometimes you rather want 3 more handtraps
@Quinsee what are your thoughts on swapping the belles with pressured planets? logic being that planet/fenrir is a plus one and what you add is either fire or earth (meaning you arent cutting 3 earths from deck by removing the belles, just making the attribute flex). also thinking fenrir is generically better than belle on the dice roll. the downside is that without the superheavy package to pendulum, fenrir searches will generally be stuck in your hand if you dont use rise to xyz
You don’t mind fenrir sticking in hand due to using it as an earth for Caesar thus being able to otk. I like the idea of pressure planet however belle just hits too many decks right now that are on the top tables and even if it’s not good you can use it as an earth.
Working on refining my list for ycs this weekend and I like your list but desires scares me especially without having ever tested with it before. Is desires actually that good? I’m testing how often did desires hard screw you?
It doesn’t really screw you in the long run. Just search first with mad love for example then play desires. You could always play prosperity instead but that prevents you from drawing from heavy borger for the turn
What about long yuan with 3 emergence? Search long yuan or a wyrm if you got a synchro. Along with the synchrons like 4.0 list you can very consistently get to raizen and with synchros consistently get you to the new fire VS. And maybe even the diabelstar engine too?
Now you’re cooking. That’s a good idea. Potentially that could work quite well longyang and 3 emergence. The diabelstar engine might be making an appearance in 6.0..
@jakequinsee if done correctly you can burn for 9k. Haven't figured out the line but ending with long yuan burn 12, make synchro that burns 12 for monster effect then 12 again for s/t. And have Borger turn 1 and 2 burn for 3k. Along with trap to reveal all 3 attributes for 24. But i think it only gets there with a 3 card combo.... so not realistic. Anyways thanks for the profile
Any consideration for Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon & Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon Overlord over Zoodiac Chakanine & Zoodiac Boarbow? It's a Zeus package immune to monster effect negation (since something like Imperm or Dragostaphelia would prevent Boarbow from attacking directly) and allows you to clear a monster with fewer than 3000 ATK or DEF without needing to use Zeus's effect in addition to the rare occasion where you can use Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon to push through for damage.
Nice deck profile! Deck list makes a lot of sense and cyrrently trying to build up to it. I was wondering if there would be any changes to the synchro VS build with the new jiao long. On a side note currently have everything from the video besides SP little knight, the battling boxer xyz, spell bound and the bystials. any replacements I could run?
There’s a few changes for sure for the synchro build but that would take more than a paragraph to explain and change. I would play a 3rd rock then as not having SP means you may be going into more turns within each game. If you own xyz encore play those instead. Cosmic cyclone is a nice card too and play 3 shifter over the bystials. Does that help?
The build is really nice! I was wondering about playing aggregator since you can spin caesar and negate soul of rage with a single ultimate slayer vs Unchained 🤔
Great decklist i must say but i would main triple tacitcs talent since its such a great card in the current format and catches your opponent on surprise at any time. Plus i myself play parralel Xceed in my main deck, ik its a wind attribute but its a free bagooska or dweller and its a chain block to keep your vs effects safe.

Hey Jimtat I’d love to especially as I used to play red resonators in a combo deck years ago however I’m sure more players would prepare my take on Mannidium etc
belle does not that much next format / shifter does way more than her. I see the point with her beeing an earth attribute but with Jialong and razen you can easily get access to panthera so theres no need to play belle. Shifter just too powerful in a GY heavy meta to not play him.

disagree on so many points here. Borger and Valius are always a two off for me simply because you dont want to draw to many of them (since they are a brick with out a NS) but on the other hand you want access to them to dodge something like imperm or targeting card destrcution / using their effects. Jiaolong is a two off aswell since it does literally nothing on its own. The % that you have 2 different fire monster in hand besides him that are not razen is so low that you will never get his search off. That means he is in best case an extender, worst case a brick. You want to search him with razen or show him with stake your soul to get access to razen. That means playing him as a three off is bad imo.
What’s the different between 2 Caesar/2 borger and 1 Caesar/3 borger? Borger let’s you draw cards and dig into what you need then you search the one copy of Caesar to close the game. What other points do you disagree with?

Droplets better once you’re set up and makes you lose when you aren’t. Usually you win once you’re set up.

I have seen some good players on DB playing the Kashtira field spell to have more fenrir. What do you think of this idea?
I like that as starting with Fenrir is the best starting play.

There’s just not enough space for parallel exceed. I had one talents in the list but cut it to make it 40.

I really wanted to include TTT in this list however space is just hard to find. Originally I had 1 talents mained and brought the count to 41.
