i dunno dude, beating on a car that you just started up is super hard on it, i couldn't get a good look at the temperature gauge but if you're running it like that when it's cold you're likely to reduce the engine life drastically. Honda's have punch, but they aren't race cars until you put the wrench time in, or you'll blow it up for sure. One shot like this isn't gonna do it in, I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but for the love of your wallet (repairs, lol) take it easy on the car ;)

i've never been in an Accord...new or old that wasn't mechanically refined that's part of the appeal,though Accords always have abit of Road Noise...as for the 4 Th Gen Accords i like the styling & Interior,less so the smallness or the 4 Cylinder only powertrain,i dont recall the 4 Th Gen accords having widespread tranny issues like the 6 Th gen Accords but older Honda transmissions from that era can be quite harsh.

the top and bottom sections of the dash are hard...the middle part is soft,even with the hard plastic the interior quality is still pretty good...a bigger issue with 6 Th Gen Accords is the transmission.
it might be your fuel injectors. they could be running too rich or too lean. or if not your fuel injectors it might just be vacuum leak or one of your fuel delivery systems isn't really working.
@Tony81489 my jeep wrangler was slipping to, i changed the filter, did a drain and refill, and i used premium gas for about a month. gas had nothing to do with it im sure but it seemed to fix it.

Sometimes you have to do that on a test drive. You want to make sure the car will accelerate hard without a problem.

my transmission was shifting like this accord. SLOW! turns out i had too much fluid. took some out and its shifting crisp! not hard but crisp!
