    If anyone needs a tutorial on opening up the pack (the hardest part) watch this guys vid..also pay attention to the top of the pack you can see the yellow wires from the speaker I was talking about...have fun!

      UPDATE: I just now did this upgrade, and HOLY MOLY! What an improvement! Such a great idea! Thanks for this, I picked up the JBL Flip 4, and it works so dang good, brother. I saw another YTer wire their setup through the wand and through the hose, all the way out to the same area where you zip tied the JBL at, works just as well. I may do that in the future with another Flip 4.

    You could also run the aux cable thru the SPK0 port on the circuitboard. It’s runs in parallel with the stock speaker.

      Yea I tried to explain it the best I could but once you get the back off that's honestly the hardest part..speaker is right at the top and the speaker has a plus on the positive side..if you get that cable I shared the red cable goes to the plus side and the black to the other then just tape up the wires put the back on plug in your speaker and your ready to make noise! Thx for watching hope this helps

      Only down side, it's probably not playing the thrower sounds through the JBL, right? For that you'd have to attach a couple wires to the thrower speaker wires and run those into the pack, merge them with your aux jack leads, then then it would play the thrower sounds as well.

    Nice, bro! Just to be clear? Both wires of the AUX cable are connected to the speaker itself ? Or are they linked to the yellow wires that come from the speaker ? Those two yellow wires coming from the speakers, you didn’t cut them or do anything to them ? I’d be interested in this mod but I’d rather hide the speaker in the storage compartment. The smoke machine thing is also a good idea. But those machines also need to be recharged. So I guess you’ll still have to open up the pack for that.

    • @la4sho23
      @la4sho23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried to explain but I took a razor and trimmed the yellow wire to expose the copped inside each one...then stripped back the black and red wires (aux cable)a bit so I could get a good connection around each one then taped them up....I did try goin around just the speaker terminals and it did work but I was worried it would vibrate loose ..hope this helps..thx for watching!

    You have this going to a JBL speaker, but unless yours is different from the one I have, it isn't small. What do you do with it to wear the pack? Have you thought of taking the electronics out of the JBL (or similar) and attaching them to the inside of the pack with the charging access open? That would take some time, but I could see how it could be done. Heck, you could even extend the on/off of the speaker power switch to the unused switch on the pack! That would be awesome!...I'm giving myself ideas! Lol

      Yep..at the beginning of the vid you can see me messing with the aux cord..its just zip tied to the Alice frame at the bottom between the lower back waist buckle padding and the pack..sorry I should have shown that better...thx for watching

      Great mod. You might want to consider an external usb charger for speaker.

      @Brad Bowlin it's the jbl flip 4...its got some decent bass too but not too big where it's in the way or anything

    • @la4sho23

      @Lewis Causey it's actually mounted in a way where I can access the charging port and aux imput to charge the speaker separately and easily..thx for watching!

    I really really want to do this but my knowledge of wiring is awful so I’m scared

    • @la4sho23
      @la4sho23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wouldn't it be easier to download the sound effects to your phone and use bluetooth to play the soundtrack instead of tapping into your proton pack and lessening the value of the pack?

    • @la4sho23
      @la4sho23  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To each their own I guess but I like having the loudness of the sound effects happen instantly when you activate the power switch and when you disconnect the wires because the sounds match the lights as well..I already play the music through the Bluetooth speaker I added..I guess you would have to have one in front of you to appreciate the difference it makes because the factory speaker is just to quiet. Plus the mod I did was easy and did zero damage to the pack it's really a no brainer when you hear the difference.
