I enjoy your mass making projects. I find I am more productive this way versus making a random pocket or envelope with no instruction or real plan. Please continue with these MM projects. TFS 😊
Thank you for these mass making video's. I was feeling overwhelmed with my papers and didn't know what to I wanted to do until I started watching your channel - now I'm making items and I'm feeling more creative.
I just love the Pocket Foldouts! I can't wait to make some. Here's a hint for the circle punch: turn it upside down when you make the thumb hole. You will be able to see where you are placing it!
I think your method of “measuring” makes perfect sense. It gives a visual of the actual size you want rather than looking at the numbers on a ruler. I am quite impressed with your cutting skills. Maybe it is the long blade on your scissors that helps, but whatever it is I envy it.
I am for the first time crafting with you. I have decided to use my printer paper scraps and making a copy of what you are making. This way I don't just watch you I end up with a sample of what to do, and write down directions right on the sample. I love doing it this way because if I mess up, no problem. Again thanks for sharing.
Yay! It’s Tuesday! Thanks Tina for another great MM video. Loved your commentary on housekeeping. Hoovering ? Took me a while to figure that one out. Lol
I love these. I always love your methods because I am the same way. I measure and I goof up. I also agree on the ‘this is how “I” do it... I never mention how I do things in comments. If I was that good I would have my own channel. As always Thank You for sharing!!!!!!!
Yay, a fellow non-measurer!!! Well I always like to point out that it's how "I" like to do because everyone has their own way don't they? Just because it suits me, it won't suit everyone...…...same with the measuring I guess. Lol x
I certainly like all the tips you give us from your experience. My cutting is often disastrous and probably because of the way I cut! I know I’ve said this to you, but I’m actually getting more items done each time. It’s pretty amazing.
Thank you Carolyn, that’s fantastic that this format is working so well for you. I must admit, that I am starting to get my head into the mass making routine for all sorts of things x
I can't remember 💩 so when I started learning how to make pockets and stuff, I made a little book just for all the things I've learned to make. Each pocket has a little tab with the name of the person I learned it from and any notes are written on the pocket, things like MY ideas or bits I had to guess at etc. If it's a easy item to figure out it gets glued in, but if it's more difficult I just paperclip it to a page in the book. I'm getting quite a collection of ideas from you now hahaha.
Great timing to find these "Mass Making" videos as I am new to journaling. I can't say I have any scraps yet, but I do have some 12x12 papers that I just bought and can use some of them. I just labeled a clear box in my craft room as "Make Aheads" and will make some of these to put in there. Thank you for the wonderful videos and great ideas. I'm off to make a few of these now. ☺♥
when using your hole punch turn it upside down and take off the tray and you can see where you are placing your paper and cut it out the depth you want.
A little trick using your punch....turn it upside down and you can see where your are punching...I use a circle punch and put a little tick in the middle and on each side of the circle on the punch so I know it is even before I punch...seems to help a lot to make it even and in the right spot! Have a great day everyone!
My hubby came up with a good idea for me to get my tea stained papers dry!! He's put an airing/clothes horse in the bath and I put the papers over it like clothes!! Any drips go in the bath and can be washed away easily!!
I definitely like the folded corner version. The Franken page is brilliant too - great idea! All great ideas spurring the creativity wheel to turn. Thank you.
I really like making these, it's great fun! I like that I can use my scrapes and make them in all sizes. Thanks for the share on this. I too have a hard time with mass making, but since watching you and crafting with you, I find that I don't dislike mass making as much.🙂 So, yes please, keep going with these.
Thank you Heather. I am so pleased that you are enjoying the workshops. I am getting into mass making now, and weirdly have started trying to mass make every time I make something, I'm like "oh I'll just make another one!!" Lol x
Your video just popped up today on my TH-cam suggested videos page--so glad it did! I subscribed after you had made this video, so I had missed it before. This is such a great idea, so I made one along with you. Now I can make a bunch more for upcoming journals! Love the variations you showed. I have a rather healthy supply of offcuts and largish scraps so all I need now is some more tea dyed papers. That's next on my agenda for the day. TFS!
Hi , Gail here I am new to junk journaling. Long time collecting supplies and watching videos but now finally in the making stage ! Lol Anyway I really enjoying your last few videos I watched were of yours and can’t wait to see more ! One tip I know for sure works for a thumb hole is to turn the punch upside down so you are viewing the blades . If your punch has a clear cover on bottom to collect scraps use it open or cover completely slide off . You can see exactly where you punching if you do it before you glue . Hope that helps
I love today's mass making. I'm going to get rid of a bunch of stray bits of paper. I never thought of copying my coffee dyed paper. I did scan in and copy some of my big lace pieces the other day.
Love these mass makes🥰 I’ve misplaced (almost certainly buried on my desk) my circle punch, so I’ve resorted to using a wee scalloped square punch (some people have square fingers🤔) and it’s working, I couldn’t cut a thumb hole free hand to save myself😂 Okay so the spinning class threw me there for a minute, I had a lovely picture in my head of you sitting at a beautiful antique spinning wheel surrounded by fabulous fibres😂 no seriously I did, I felt a little jealous and then totally deflated when I realised we were talking exercise not old school craft😆 Brilliant tutorial today, loved it🥰 X
Good morning Tina. Thanks fir the great idea and it looks easy enough for me (beginner) to give it a try❣ And Ireally admire your cutting skills, got a long way to go for that myself🤭 Ps your right. Mass making is very convenient. When you start a journal, one always has things ready to work with😊
Oh I'm thrilled that you are enjoying these workshops. I must admit I am a mass making convert (early stages) lol! Yes it is lovely having a few things ready on hand x
Ugh! Everything I touched was a mess, totally not normal for me, I guess I am off today! 🥺 I will try again later. Love these mass making videos, thank you for making them Tina! 💖🌸💖
Your mass makes are always great. I’ve been having a massive tidy-up and I’ve got a huge box of scraps and orphan designer sheets - it’s a good feeling to use things up😁
Yesterday I was tee and coffeedying like crazy because of the last good day here in Switzerland. And as usual I thought: why not in summer when the papers dry in notime> Why always waiting till the last minute :) The whole garden was fulllll yesterday and I was happy, untill........suddenly the wind came up. My neighbors already think I am crazy with my papers and now I had to run around like crazy to get my papers in :) :)
Lol, shame us crafters don’t all just live next to each other, then we’d all get in. I am picturing you running around grabbing your paper as it blows about, that’s me sometimes too x
wow u live in switzerland. i like your accent. Love your videos. Such pretty paper you have. I live in Iowa. Its cold here this spring. Had the heater on till middle of may and beyond. Have a Nice Day.
Pam from the paper Outpost just like that to she makes books and file folders and all kinds of stuff that I don't think I could ever made she just starts from scratch and just makes him out of her head
Love your massmaking series! 💕💕 You should check out Gayle Agostinelli’s ephemera serie over on her channel. She has 3 books of ideas. 😳😍😊 Rachels folder is also stunning. 💕 Hugs, Erika in Sweden
Now if you look at that page and not art on that page it looks like there's a creepy Voodoo guy staring at you or is it just me it's almost like a mask and where you put the circle for the thumb that's right between his eyes I'd say I'm just kidding but I really mean it
Love Love Love your mass making workshop thank you Hugs Bonnie
Love the mass making videos. Please make more, alot more..keep them coming..
I forgot to say I DO love making these! Great video Tina keep it up! 😊💖😊
Thank you Laurette, we all have off days btw x
I enjoy your mass making projects. I find I am more productive this way versus making a random pocket or envelope with no instruction or real plan. Please continue with these MM projects. TFS 😊
Those bird napkins look so good on the book page. I don’t think I have ever seen that done before.
A great way of using up your paper stash...Cheers Tina! X
Thank you for these mass making video's. I was feeling overwhelmed with my papers and didn't know what to I wanted to do until I started watching your channel - now I'm making items and I'm feeling more creative.
Oh that is so wonderful x
Cutting into the fold! That makes so much sense.... I've always struggled with my cutting. Game changer. You are full of wise nuggets! Thanks so much!
I just love the Pocket Foldouts! I can't wait to make some. Here's a hint for the circle punch: turn it upside down when you make the thumb hole. You will be able to see where you are placing it!
Yes, Tina, if you turn the punch upside-down, you can see exactly where your punch circle is and how much paper you’ll be removing. Easy as pie. 😊
I think your method of “measuring” makes perfect sense. It gives a visual of the actual size you want rather than looking at the numbers on a ruler. I am quite impressed with your cutting skills. Maybe it is the long blade on your scissors that helps, but whatever it is I envy it.

I love the 2” punch for shallow thumb holes and I just used the mass make technique to make three horse journals - it was great!
I don’t think I’ll ever catch up!🥰
I love the mass making because I'm learning how to do different processes. I agree that music paper one is awesome! Thanks Tina!
