Hi Margaret, thank you so much! Sometimes I do use digital’s… But I always include ideas for alternatives because I think, at least I try to, of everyone, and what we all have, and don’t have… So we can all play together and have fun! Thanks again…❤

I had ALLOT of card board boxes piling up aswell and had to get rid of them , felt so much better. The rest i am saving to use with my embossing machines

I have been watching videos forever....but this is the first thats answering my questions and motivating to start and attack the masses of papers and cut-outs and boxes and tags saved up for one day....tx so so very much!
I am a beginner and watching you pushes me a lot to have one for myself. My paper, cards, etc are clutter before but now instead of throwing I recycle them for stashes.😂

I was so excited to find this channel. I love your soft-spoken voice, its very calming. I'm now s new subscriber. I am mostly a crafter but recently I started watching journaling videos of all kinds. I love how you take junk mail and repurpose it as well as recycling things that would normally go to a landfill. As a crafter I save so much and now that I'm so hyped up about paper crafting all my stash of cereal boxes and papers are going to be put to good use. I was doing some cardboard tags along with you snd thats because you inspired me so much that I couldnt just sit and watch. Thank you so much for helping me to create a stash. This would be a great way to use up those 6x6 paper packs that some of us have and do not know what to do with it.
I started out making junk journals (I have only made a few) as a hobby. I thought that it was such a neat hobby. I did not have a hobby at the time so I chose to make junk journaling as my new and favorite hobby.
Now it has become a part of my self-care routine. Even though I struggle with being creative I find the process of creating a junk journal to be so rewarding and refreshing for my overall well being. The feel of different textures of paper is at the top of the list for what I like most about junk journaling.
It is just a great form of art for me. I do understand that it is not for everyone. I have a few family members that are always interested to see what I am working on but they do not see themselves creating a junk journal because they do not want a lot of ‘stuff’ hanging around to be used. But that is okay because they are always gifting me with their ‘stuff’ and I love it lol🙂💜.

When I opened TH-cam there was your video. Am I ever glad it was! I learned quite a bit. I’ve only been doing this junk journaling since sometime in November. It certainly is fun! I’ve always saved interesting boxes and empty cracker boxes, empty paper egg cartons. All sorts of things that everybody wishes I would toss. But I always end up using it for some art or creative project, and now I’ve got junk as an outlet. Thank you for these ideas. I subscribed and I went for the notifications as well. The illustrations look a little like Kate Greenaway to me. If it's really that vintage that would make it a possibly expensive cut apart.
Hello there and thank you so much! The name of the book is the Kate Greenaway Treasury. The author is Ruth Hill Viguers. Although the it’s a little vague, it also says Collins on the outside of the book, but it appears like that may be publishing. I think you can find it though! 🫶

There is a cute shot in the video where it has the signature of the to and from and the date according to that person when they gave it. where it shows that information and the price I paid which was $12 but honestly it’s packed with over 329 pages of goodness, I think it was worth the price… Do you? We all think so differently 😊❤

ugh.. I really get queasy when folks used old antique books for their junk journals... Probably destroying some rare book. I would honestly just photo copy the pages instead of destroying the book... But I am a Librarian.. so
