The door panel differed on my 2009, so here are some notes that apply to later models: First, the door handle is a tray (no opening in the bottom), so the two screws are in the bottom of the tray. Remove those and then you can pry the whole insert that includes the switch assembly (the tray seems separate but pull the whole top panel) up to gain access to the other two screws that hold the door panel. The screw in the lower rear corner of the door panel seems to be captive, but if you try to remove the door panel after unscrewing it all the way you will break a plastic cylinder off the back of the panel and the screw will remain in the door. You must forcibly yank the screw out of the door and panel; its tip seems to get stuck in a plastic insert in the door frame.

The rust on the bottom of the door was bad enough that I would consider replacing the door. But ONLY IF that was a Southern vehicle. In the South that vehicle should last another 20 years. But it must be from the North and the salt is killing it. And any 2010 from the salt belt is pretty much at end of life now. So no reason to replace the door. And hardly a reason to replace the window regulator.
My Driver’s side window rocks forward and backward for about the first six inches of downward travel and the smooths out. It raises smoothly with no issues. Douse that sound like the mechanism just needs to be cleaned and lubed as well as the channels the glass rides in?
Yes. My question too. And the length is important. They need to be long enough to do the job. But if they are too long they can get caught on things as the window goes up and down.

What do you do if the motor won't lower the window?
