Thoughts on maindecking three amano in the new format? Going second is incredibly rough, as well as having the option to make Bagooska going first it seems like a resonable choice to me.
If you’re having a hard time going 2nd, I think the Amano is fine at 2 tbh. The only board you can’t crack is the memento fiendsmith board with Amano because they have trap interactions. At some point when you start going first, you will draw 2 Amano and make your demise weaker or just straight up draw into them. Can swap the boarder and Amano. I’m also testing shifter in the side in place of dogwood and finding success there when I don’t see Amano or sphere mode.
Prices are very insane! This deck is great if you want to remain competitive yet budget. Would recommend to learn the other decks fairly well to understand how they crumble, think that’s what separates a solid stun player from your average.
Typically for going 2nd: - Swap Boarder for Amano - Golden Droplet, Smiting Storm, and Dispelling for any 3 of (like sphere mode) - 1 Desires, -1 synchro zone, -tirade - 1 any floodgate that doesn’t work well in a match (gozen, rivalry, tcboo). Then typically goes in 1-3 cosmic depending on the matchup and even 2 judgment going 2nd against tenpai or a deck with no negates. For going first I will take out 1 golden droplet, any bad floodgate(s) for 3 judgment. You typically want to open 1-2 runick spells to protect vs harpies in G3 going first.
In what type of situations do you usually go for sp? I know you said that you go for her to unclog the emz, but wouldnt you keep the emz clogged when summoning her? Btw, nice decklist tho, very similar to mine!
Sometimes your board gets clunky. You make summon a Munin with an inspector boarder predicting if your opponent has cosmic. After some time, they may begin not to play any cards until they can make a big push, so you can’t use Runick cards because the EMZ is clogged. In that case, you will use SP so that way in a new chain after using its effect, you can hugin protect again. EDIT: Also I’m in simplified game states where you are top decking you can go hugin, get fountain and make S:P, holding onto Fountain until you get your next spell.
Only golden droplet depending on the matchup. You want access to Hugin protect / fountain early and save judgment for cosmic. Yes, typically a couple floodgates come out for the judgments. Some floodgates like rivalry and gozen are bad vs tenpai for example. You wouldn’t need them in the first place.
@@sinistergaming_tcg thank you for the tips! I've been really struggling with sidding, because I'm playing 3 judgments and 2 tyrants on the side deck, and I can't really figure out how to get 5 slots free
@ilgattoyuumi I mean, yeah, that is true. I mean, you have Hugin to protect, slumber to stop attacking, Geri as defense, a Syncro zone so they can't attack with their main deck monsters, and one day of peace. I can see if they draw the right combination of board breakers it could be very bad. Oh you have flashing fire on monsters and destruction on field spell
Honestly, never tested it but Desires has always treated me really well. I just don’t like that card scanner is quite heavy on going first and living through the first turn.
You can set boarder then flip it next turn if one is already on the field. It happens when the game state is simplified or they keep passing turn and you can barely use Runick spells.
un gusto jugar contra ti soy el spright fiendsmith jeje

Hey brother, very good job. I kinda switched over to a more casual YGo player (prices are nuts) but This is my competitive deck! GJ

I place sphere modes in the main it was clutched going 2nd in this new format. Also time tearing morganite helps.
I’ve considered main sphere mode. It’s possibly the move based on Niagara results!
This guy goes to my locals and is the king
Congrats for your top! Do you have any sife patterns? I cant manage to get how to side 😢

Love this, thanks @@sinistergaming_tcg
What you think about 3 dimensional fissure? I just think it really good and I would want to see it often but maybe 3 is too many. I don't know
Maybe consider siding the 3rd when you know you are going first!
I was one of your opponents and tbh I had fun lol congrats on top btw 🎉
Thank you! Which deck or round did we play?

I can't imagine playing 6 Tenpai matches in a single tournament. What a nightmare.
Runick stun match up into tenpai is pretty good for runick stun.
Like Wes mentioned, it’s a pretty favorable matchup but you can lose if you’re too reckless!
@@wesmoorer3638well not really, it depends on the build: most of the time tenpai decks has lime 19/20 board breakers ahah

Thoughts on card scanner ?

what do you mean if u have 2 boarders up? isn't that an illegal board state???

@@sinistergaming_tcg ohhhhhh dang!!! I didn't even think about that
You cant feel like a good yugioh player performing with this rubish deck .. u making no friends on tournaments with this deck🤣
That sounds like a literal skill issue on your end. Wish you luck on getting more friends!
