New subscriber. Love this knot!!! Thank you so much!! 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you for watching, subscribing, and your feedback! Tight lines! 😊🎣
😂thanks for sharing that information really appreciated it
Thank you and my pleasure! 😊
Straight to the point, easy to understand I am going to try a few of these
Thank you and hope you catch lots of fish with it. Tight lines! 🙏😊🎣
Congratulations on this video. Your rigs you build also stress the need to moisten the line before tightening any knots. This is a crucial action to do. I watch many videos on here from other fishing rig contributors, almost all of them fail to mention the importance of knot moistening. If I could add one suggestion to help your rig be more useful would be to add instead of a sinker loop a small link swivel, This would give you a great advantage, if your sinker gets stuck in the rocks the small link swivel would act as a weak link and save losing the complete rig and any hooked fish. So apart from the sinker all would come back to you including maybe that trophy fish of a lifetime. Tight Lines Buddy !!!
Moistening the knot is a given. You can also modify this rig based on conditions or fish species you are going for indeed. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for watching! Tight lines! 🙏😊
Ok. Let me tell you this. With every video you make you impress me more. This video was very well put together, very informative, easy to understand & clear. You will get a ton of hits on this one brother. Very well done. Love seeing the Frankie James at the end with the underwater footage. Can’t wait to get her back in the H2o
Thanks brother for all the great trips that helped make this possible! 😊💪🎣

Another Awesome video thanks for sharing
I appreciate your feedback as always bud! 🙏😊
Great video thanks alot .🇹🇹
Thank you and very kind of you! Tight lines! 🙏😊🎣
There’s more commercials then information. Another thing that loop you made for the sinker is a surgeon’s loop and if you get hung up it will never pull out , you’ll wind up losing the whole rig .
Sorey about the commercials that are run by YT. I think the premium YT account gets you out of the commercials, or you can skip them. Thank you for watching and I appreciate your feedback as well. This rig has worked well for me over the years. And yes, when you are Tog fishing in sticky bottoms, you are bound to lose rigs. Otherwise, you're not Tog fishing. Tight lines!🙏 😊🎣
Awesome cool...;Fish on
Thank you and fish on! 😊💪🎣
Excellent video. Especially liked how you snelled hook on line.
Thank you for watching and your feedback! Tight lines! 🙏😊

😊
NICE WORK MATE VERY GOOD 👍
Thank so much for watching and your feedback! Tight lines 😊🙏🎣
Cool.
Thank you and tight lines!
Merci.
My pleasure and tight lines! 🙏😊🎣
Nice rig for harder bottom but if you fish on the North Shore of Long Island there are certain areas more towards the Eastern part where the bottom is silt which is fairly deep and if the hook isn’t high enough on the leader the weight of the sinker is going to pull the hook into the silt where the tog can’t get to it. I learned this the hard way so I would vary my rigs. Just my .02
Yes definitely, this rig can be modified according to the structure/area you're fishing in. You can also add a second slider hook if you want also. Thank you for your feedback and tight lines! 😊🙏🎣
3:40 - NO!
NO NO NO NO NO!
Your knot will slip and snap under high load! You need to cinch it all the way down!
When the knot is fully cinched down, the knot's coils will be neatly, tightly stacked one atop the other. This knot requires a LOT of tension to fully cinch, and it had better be very wet when you do it.
There are knots that don't require so much pressure to cinch down.
I greatly appreciate your helpful feedback. Thankfully, the knot has not failed me yet. I realize there are a few different ways of tying them. Tight lines! 🙏😊
Hi
Hey
Did you say you use #30-#50 for pond fishing? I use #15 or less for OCEAN fishing...what kind of monsters live in said pond?
No, i said that for Tautog I usually use 30-50lb test leader 😊
liked it
Thank you and tight lines! :)
Wow mantap bang keren
Thank you and tight lines!
Please adjust volume on your introduction and closing .waýyyy too loud .great video
Thank you for watching and your feedback! 🙏😊
i am a beginner in fishing. just want to know how much should be gap between hook and weight
Depends on the type of bottom fishing you are doing. I this case, I left about 4-6" above the sinker because I was targeting blackfish because they are feeding closer to the bottom. You can do about 4 fingers. The length of the hook line can also be adjusted depending on whether you want your bait to float a bit or just rest at the bottom. Hope this helps 😊
Простой и практичный отводной
Yes and effective also. Thank you for watching and commenting! Fish on! 👍😊🎣
What kind of scissors are those?
Those were Bubba scissors
Is this good for red snapper rig ? How much the gap to sinker to hook when targeting red snapper
This rig works for most fish species that feed closer to the bottom. You can modify this rig with the hook a bit higher or just use a Hi-Lo rig. I have a video on the hi-lo as well. Thank you and let me know if you have any further questions.
@@RafSowiOutdoors ty for the reply can I have one last question is red snapper feed in closer to the bottom?
@ranechellimbaga5701 Yes, you can find them at the bottom but also a few feet off the bottom.
@@RafSowiOutdoors what rig do you recommend in this fish
Im fishing in the river
@@ranechellimbaga5701 it depends on what type of fish species you are fishing for. This rig can be good for catfish, carp, and other bottom feeders. You can also use a hi-lo rig or a fish finder rig.
Wish u didn’t keep cutting the video smh
I know, sorry for the edits. But please let me know if you have any questions. This is one of my favorite bottom fishing rig. Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏😊
@@RafSowiOutdoors I only use the first knot you shown to catch gummy shark, two granny's and I handshake the hooks, this seems like too many possible weak links

Why is the intro music loud as fuck and the rest quiet. Is it even necessary?
Sorry about that and thank you for watching! 🙏😊
your welcome
I needed the quiet of the tutorial. I was getting frustrated by my lack of finger dexterity and hand cramps as I followed along.
