It was a slower day. There was a lot of seaweed. Winter flounder are awesome. We caught a few here during early spring, but they are not easy to find. What I'm searching for is a 10+ pound fluke! 😁

Now call me an idiot, but after living in Florida for 4 years and being a massive angler and diver, I've never heard the term "Fluke" used for Flounders. Is that a new term?
I think it depends on where you are from. But you are correct. A fluke is a flounder or also known as a summer flounder. On the NE many call summer flounder, fluke. Tight lines! 😊

In Lake superior they can get to be around 8 to 21 inches good eats and nice fish 👍
They are fun catching and good eating. Many don't know that herring are one of the healthiest fish to eat as well. 😊

There’s more commercials then information. Another thing that loop you made for the sinker is a surgeon’s loop and if you get hung up it will never pull out , you’ll wind up losing the whole rig .
