SSRS Tutorial 57 - Hide Or UnHide Columns By Using Parameter Value in SSRS Report

In this video of SSRS Tutorial, we will learn
How to Hide/UnHide Columns and Shrink the remaining columns by using Parameter in SSRS Report.
The demo will present a scenario in which we will use a Boolean Type parameter, by Clicking True we would like to see all the columns or you can call that detail report. When we click False we would like to see limited number or columns or compact format of our report. We will follow below steps to create our final report in SQL Server Reporting Services
Create empty Report in SSRS
Create Tabular report in SSRS
Create Boolean type Parameter

When colum is grouped if you try to hide that group it removes everything from the report. Is there a way to hide a group column like you are showing in this video for columns?

Im using dynamic columns , ie: Column is element category and contain many catagories. say I want to only hide two specifics. how?

Say User want to make column 3 hide and Unhide or same property to be fixed ooon each and every column

I have a multiple group by relationships but I don't want to show some columns with group by. when I set the visibility/hidden property to true it leaves white space for the column. how do I remove the space. any thoughts

You have to click on Column Group/Static and then under Properties/Visibility/Hiden enter =Parameters!par_name.Value="False" and it works fine to me. Problem with gap between column will appear if you'll click on Colum header and enter a command.
