- Hey all. This is an early game Bandit/bleed build and rune farm guide. Hopefully this helps you become really powerful in Elden Ring!
For this we grabbed:
-Bandit class
-2 Bandit Curved Swords
-Any Seal
-Dagger with Golden Vow
-Flame Grant Me Strength
-Claw Talisman
At one point i stated Rotten Winged, but meant Winged Sword Insignia, which you can grab in Liurnia of the Lakes.

Every time I hear a bleed arcane build whine that they can't bleed a boss...
Bloody Slash becomes sad. :(
@@chuckchan4127 Seppuku just beats it by a mile but it’s really good early game. Just hard to recommend a build that loses HP to new players, so I went for jump attacks.

For help farming the bandit's curved sword go behind the Third Church of Marika and kill the silver bug that carries an ash of war. It'll drop sacred blade which got buffed recently to apply hit connection. Sacred Blade deals a big chunk of holy damage and prevents undead from reviving so you should be able to one or two shot that skeleton.

My first two play throughs I discovered a wonderful fact. About 60% of all normal enemies are very weak to bleed or holy. So every time I saw a new enemy that seemed tough at first but got 1-3 shot with holy/blood weapons I back tracked and made notes like “try bleed” or “when in doubt, try holy” a surprising number of enemies get wrecked by holy weapons. One of my favorite weapons for low level bosses is the winged scythe specifically because it has both with a decent range ash of war. I must’ve left dozens of “try holy” messages throughout limgrave
Great guide! Before watching this video, for my starting Bandit, I simply dual wielded the Great Knife with Reduvia, until i switched to an Uchigatana with bloody slash, which is shredding enemies. I may switch to dual bandit curved sword once I get more smithing stones. Or i may not, farming for two is a nightmare, at 1.5% drop rate. One hour, no luck so far.
Oh wow most people get both within 20 minutes or so. Hopefully you’ll get the drop, good luck 👍
@@AverageGamerMatt The drop rate is what it is, according to Google. Getting two in 20 minutes when you can expect on average 1.5 every 100 kills is super lucky. I didn't time myself, but I probably did about 80 kills in one hour.

@@AverageGamerMatt Thanks! I didn't use silver pickled fowl foot. I'll farm up the resources for a large amount of those for my next attempt. UPDATE: with silver pickled fowl foot, it did take less than 20 minutes to get two of these swords!
This was super helpful for getting my bandit character started! Would you be able to do an early game guide for an intelligence build? I watched your video about the 5 best magic builds, but most of those skills/weapons seem to be locked behind mid-game/late-game stuff.

I had a similar build but I cheesed mogh in the first two hours and made a build for moghs spear
Nice Mohg’s spear is great too. Just not that easily accessible for most at the beginning.

I prefer Shamshir in the right hand. If you want to go sword and board, the R1 is superior to regular Curved swords.
Also a Solid setup 👍 a lot of good early game options.
They fixed the dragon glitch, still a good guide. Sorry for getting so pissed lol
As far as I know it still works. Wasn’t in the recent patch notes. It’s doubtful they’d patch it after all this time. Just has to be fast.

I also wasn't fast enough again and I killed it lol. I legit got on my horse asap jumped off and as I entered the grace site I saw the item for dragon heads pop up. Checked my xp and I didn't earn any

I'm here trying to grind for the curved bandit blade and it's been an entire hour. I still haven't gotten it
Interesting guide. However, I was wondering on what other dagger do u recommend to power stance with Reduvia dagger if I wanna stick it instead of double bandit curved swords.??
You can powerstance with a regular dagger or the starting one (it has bleed). Reduvia Blood Blade is very good on its own. It just has a dropoff compared to Seppuku builds (bandit/scavs) around the mid to late game.

Got it, thank u so much. Another question pls, for the Eleanor twin-blade, is it good to invest in it? Should I use it alone (two handed) or should I use another twin blade to dual wield with it ?
@@samerfakhri9210 duel wield it with a frost twinblade for best damage imo. It’s pretty good overall.
Killing the dragon to get 50k runes on my first playthrough, currently sitting on level 111 in 8 hours, what is the recommended level to start NG+?
Around 125-150. NG+ is really fun too. Enjoy!

how are you even supposed to kill the summons, cant even get a hit in before i get killed, like wtf and the hunter takes forever to spawn in to help
Run around and dodge his attacks until the Hunter spawns in. Then it’s 2 on 1. Sometimes hitting him once can seemingly make him spawn faster. Good luck 👍
Should I put my levels more into arcane or dex?
Dexterity. Eventually for bleed it caps pretty hard at 45. Dex can go all the way to 80 before a solid damage cap.

should i dual wield nagakiba and uchi and do a bleed build? and if yes at which hand the uchi and ash of war?
Sure they’re both good. Go with bloody slash early game. And Nagakiba main hand imo.

Katana's don't have a very good powerstance moveset but it's still pretty fun imo. I'd put the uchi in your main hand so you don't accidentally miss a bunch of offhand attacks
Well I’m an idiot. At 14:08 to go back and beat on the dragon he died in my game and I wasn’t paying attention.
Yep you can’t reset him after that unfortunately. You can start over but that’s rough too.

Im at the church of pilgrimage and I’ve killed the guy about 10 times and theres no bones that have even dropped let alone the bandit curved sword, has this been patched?
Nope. 10 times isn’t much lol some weapon farms in ER can take hours unfortunately. Drops rates on average are 2-4%.

I killed the dragon and went back to the checkpoint immediately and rest until morning but the dragon seems death. Is there something changed after the new package?
No it still works/wasn’t patched yet (that I know of). It just has very little room for error. Has to be really quick.

Btw, this is my first run in Elder Ring and I am really bad with melee builds. Using Reduvia's short-ranged skills I felt really comfortable. But after getting dual Bandit's sword I felt really weak because I had to stay close to enemies to hit them. Is this build good for beginners? Or could you recommend any other range build to me?
@@erenyilmaz9262 they’re both solid. Reduvia is great. Bandits keep getting better as the game goes on though (curved and twinblade jump attacks are incredibly powerful).
I hop on torrent and finish hitting him the last few times then rush to the bonfire. Only way I can get there in time

What do you do if the dragon is not there? I never killed it?
It should always be there unless you’ve killed it (it dies permanently if you don’t cheese it with the grace).

I went to the ravine and no npc help came….
He takes a while. I usually hit the NPC invader first and that triggers Yura.

Were you back to the Grace and resting fast enough? It has to be really quick.
I did but got my cut scene with spirit bitch right there lmao

@@kevinmielke688 you gotta rest before you get to that Grace. That animation is long and can stop the glitch from working.
Manage to get it but around third time someone put a message by the grace and messed me up
