Really wish I had the dexterity for the mini bugout but I have the Bailout so I guess that's close enough to the Bugout 🤣. I remember laughing about "flexgate" and also had no idea what they were doing with their folders.
I love the bugout series coming from a backpacking background. They are the best option for backpacking for the weight and size. I think about what a lot of Knife guys are doing with their blades. Using any tool, you can feel how a tool is working. People should be able to judge what a tool can handle before it breaks.
I also love my third Kizer Drop Bear in black green canvas micarta. As a female with medium sized hands, dealing with mini knives with a blade under 3 inches is hard for me to flick open. I have a mini militaw and never use it.
If I may offer some advice: the mini pyrite is my most used knife. First, what I learned from getting used to flick it open, it was significantly more difficult to ingrain in my muscle memory. To do it, I have to hold the knife at a very specific angle that took me a few days to get used to. Also the mini pyrite is super easy to button flick open, if you never get the knack with the finger hole. Also I find the wharncliffe blade far more useful in this size category; this knife is so perfect for guided cuts. As a male with small hands, we probably have similar size fingers. If this is a size category that interests you, I highly recommend trying this knife, and that's coming from someone who has a distinctly negative opinion towards CJRB. Particularly if you wait for it to go on sale, you can get it for around $40 after tax.
@happykt I do love the Lander 2. It didn't make the cut this year. I will be carrying it more this year. I'm hoping to get some new scales for it. I kind of want the red plade scales.
Yeah I really enjoy the new scales on it. The hot swappable scales is the knifes best feature. You can buy the scales you like and then switch them out.
I wish they had a full sized Militaw in ultem instead of just offering ultem as a filler. Good lineup
@HopsAndLead i agree, i want the same color combo that I ha e in a full-size militaw. They may have it in the fixed blade version.

I love my Knafs Lander 2 in brown paper micarta!

Yo, that Knafs Lander is so sick looking. I usually don't like such a busy look, but that thing is way to slick.

@@MoosesGearGooReview As a self-proclaimed Qubit man, I like the look of those ergos too.
