The guy appreciated the pies so much. I love how he kissed the chef's hand at the end.....respecting the magical work she did. I live just 15 minutes away from the DeForest location. I think it will soon be time to take a short drive and discover some Norwegian delights!
I wish Mr. Dye's Pies existed when I lived in Milw. Still, I could see hopping on a flight for some Brandy Old Fashioned Cherry Pie. For now, stuck in Dallas during the pandemic, I'm going to try to figure out how to make what will undoubtedly be a poor substitute.
their pie is unbelievable and worth the visit alone but their entire menu is delicious. it all has the passed down from scratch recipe taste to it.
Mr. Dye’s Pies are the best pies on earth. Other places make good pie, but Mr. Dye has a true gift for pie making. Extraordinary pies.
True dat!
