  • Ashish Ranjan is an ex-ISRO, ex- BARC Scientist. He has spent the past 5 years writing a book on his experience of getting selected and working in India's Nuclear program and how he worked his way up into India's space program despite his poor academic background. Ashish had scored 53/100 in Mathematics and 61/100 in Physics on his 12th boards. He had even failed Physics in his 11th Standard. Ashish never got admitted to top universities for his B.Tech. like IITs or NITs. Yet, he made his way into India's two of the largest research organizations as a Scientist. He has recently published a Book, "The Boy Who Did Not Sign" which is a fictional story inspired by a true event in Ashish's life in BARC. The book is about pursuing a dream career despite our limitations and disadvantages, about relationship dynamics we all face, about doing the right thing, and much more. The Boy Who Did Not Sign is now published worldwide (Paperback + eBook).

Someone can waste their time not living in the moment and always striving for the next thing but also by doing nothing and letting these emotions consume you can leave you with more regret. It is a paradox and any person struggling with guilt right now, usually it’s because they feel like they have failed somehow or not good enough. Actually the universe paves a path and we get to decide with one to take at the fork. All too often people get caught up in which direction to take when actually the hardest path is usually the right path.

What will guilt bring to us? A fire???
Most of the cases, it leads to insomnia.
When people realise they aren't capable to heal the damage they did to themselves, they tend to run away from it , search for dopamine in social media and intoxicants and finally fell into a trap which bends reality in their eyes especially when they are alone. The longer they are in the trap the dumber they turn into. After that , every motivational video works only for the duration of the video.
Knowing our capabilities without comparing anyone and applying them through govt. exams, competitions, off campus placements or anywhere they are required may help to know us better.
And those who used guilt for motivation without falling into trap, they must be really admirable persons.

I, m very grateful to you whatever things u said in this video was too relevant to our day to day life where most of the people just neglect the reality or that point u said," hiding from reality", "being optimistic in happiness",it's more important or hard to be optimistic in hard times your video meant allot & helped thank u very much for making us realise the circumstances..

Thanks for uploading this video Ashish. Going through the same situation due to 1 mistake in past which cost me 1.5 years of my life. And now i am working hard leaving everything behind just to get a thing which i could have achieved in those 1.5 years. After listening it felt good that i am doing right thing now. The thought of getting behind of the time is very irritating. Then we need to work hard each and everyday, every minute to chase the wasted time and compansate with something which we could have done earlier.

I am "one of those people" who just got in 11th grade and I just don't know what to do, although I was sure about opting for PCM because that's what I founded interesting in 10th. I already have realised that only I will be responsible for whatever I do in upcoming 2 year and they might or might not decide my career. My father passed away when I was 10 and my mother is working very hard looking at her sometimes gives me a reality check that every wasted day is going to cost something . I am not sure but sometimes I think I can get a good rank in jee if i work hard and sometimes it gives me thoughts like what if my preparation will not be enough or what if I start lying to myself . I do surely have a lot of questions but 3 weeks ago I had a lot more and I got the answers from this page I don't know when and how I will find stability in my mind about a career but I will try to take my steps everyday . Thank you for all of this ,your guidance is making my mind more and more clearly day by day and somehow distractions are getting less too

Most relatable video on TH-cam. I was thinking about it an hour ago and the notification came (power of Bell icon. Press it guys 😃).
I got a good branch(not that good in terms of placements, but I like it the most) in a govt. College, in my hometown, which is like a tier 3 college. No placements. I feel like I wasn't able to enjoy my college life at all as I was at home for 4 years. Wanted to go to a hostel badly. Most friends left the town for engineering colleges in metro cities. So now after BE, I am preparing for GATE so that I can specialize and also enjoy college life.
Thanks for the video Ashish bhaiyaa. I admire you a lot and look upto you as an elder brother. Thanks.
