Sure, there are many items featured that are ridiculous (such as the foot shoes or Noah Cyrus's tears) and are not worth their price. However, items like the salehe bembury Crocs are really respected in the fashion community. I feel like talking about this stuff on this platform only promotes negativity from people who already think this stuff is stupid to begin with. You (as in the collective) don't have to like it, and if you don't like it, then it wasn't made for you. Just as much as how I love metal music, and if you don't then that music wasn't written for you. This is also not meant as an attack on Austin and Matt because I actually love their content. This is constructive criticism that I hope they read and just take into consideration. As well, I'm not trying to convince anyone that they SHOULD like these items because that's really not the point, they're appreciated by some but not by all.
I also know that fashion is the least of this world's problems, I just generally take an issue to any kind of promoting of negativity when the subject is not within one's wheelhouse. I take the same issue to Style Theory, MattPats new channel, and how it strives to be the number one fashion channel when they're are so many knowledgeable smaller channels to support.
