Hi Alvin just caught your latest blog , having recently done some work as a project coordinator with local authority here in London prior to me studying for CAPM, Prince 2 foundation &practioner Prince 2 Agile as l look to past the exams and be certified by end of July 2024. Still need to work on areas where l am weak in my skill set. Thanks again for inspiring me and motivating me in my project management journey.
@markbrown7630, so glad to hear from you, and for watching my latest video! Keep up the great work with studying for your exams. Good luck studying, and soon, you'll pass your Certifications in July this year! You got this
Thank you so much for this. As an lawyer and a self-taught project manager, the job search seems quite overwhelming. Just like you said, it is better to apply to roles that match your skillset.
Super helpful! I work in a firm with multiple disciplines; civil engineering, hydro, environment, survey, and landscape. I was asked if I was interested in PM work and thought why not, but boy I didn’t know what I was getting into! I am learning as I go and seeking extra resources to learn from when I came across your account. Your videos are really helpful and informative. Thanks for sharing your insights.
If I knew what I was getting into, I would’ve started the CAPM courses beforehand. I didn’t finish my associates for project management and decided just to hop into at a company that gave me the opportunity to do so.

I'm glad that you were able to get into a company and work in project management. It's never too late to pursue your certifications or your degrees!
You forgot the 3rd option, where a company has transformed to agile... then has gradually been dragged back in to waterfall but refuses to admit it.
Good add, completely agreed with you!

My pleasure, wishing you the best of luck in your career in project management!
