I was a mechanic/carpenter for over forty years and had a ton of tools. Five years ago, the wife talked me into selling most of my tools and shop! Two years ago, she talked me into selling the last of my tools in preparation for retirement into Mexico. We spent a month in Queretaro, Mx. I absolutely loved it and was looking forward to the menjana lifestyle! After a month, she began to have a women fit and decided that she did not want to retire there so we moved back to Tennessee and purchased a new home. I am now having to purchase all new tools! That is the silver lining LOL!
SO YOU HAVE A BOSS AS WELL THEN 🤣🤣🤣 DONT WE ALL . HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE .
Al Bundy was right about everything
That friend sounds so familiar, my wife decided that we would by that I mean me redecorate and refurbish our bedroom. It took me a couple of weeks to clear out strip all the walls and removed a fitted wardrobe, I then duly redecorated with the colour that she chose. Then unfortunately my wife was ill and was in bed for a couple of months, at the end of the time she said and I quote, 'I hate that colour of paint you need to redecorate'. This coming June god willing it will be our 42nd wedding anniversary, and you know what if I knew now what I knew then, I'd still say I do.
I’d of stayed and sent her back to mom.
That sounds about right!! 😂
My grandfather taught me, you never go wrong investing in quality tools. You expand your abilities and offerings to your customers.
You got that right, his words still stand the test of time.
I really hope all these young Men stay in the business, Tucker, Hunter and Mason all have a lot of potential. Ten thumbs up emoji's.
That is the first time that I have actually seen a pull through hydraulic tool in action, COOL!
Most satisfying to watch those bushes being pulled in. Well done you guys.
y’all are the perfect example of good old American ingenuity and can-do. Great video series, Clint!
Another satisfied customer getting a quality piece of equipment. That sure did tighten those joints up. And all that with no drama. Bill
"That wasn't terrible" ..lol - hah, - another gem from the C&C team.
Y’all look like the blues brothers standing there together with ur shades on😂.
You got alllll the tools Big Man 💯
Great job to all that worked on the Escavator. Thank you for sharing! 👌 😊
U guys Rock !! Tight,Tidy,, always well done!! Coffees on! Cheers!;-)!
Like the video CX300D Case , thanks Clint and every body ho work on it .
My dad owned his own construction company when I was a kid and watching you and your boys reminds me so much of my dad teaching me to run equipment as a kid. I ran backhoes, loaders, excavators, crawler cranes, etc before I was 16. Keep up the great work and videos!
Great job Tucker 👏👏👏👏an exercise is skill and confidence building, good job dad.
Kevin you make me smile a lot.
I know it’s not all cotton candy and rainbows. But, retiring from the army in 6 months you truly have my dream job.
Great job on getting this baby back up and running 💪💪 Keep them coming Clint!!🤗🇺🇸
this is a LOT of exp teaching a LOT of lucky students
Impressive for sure goes to show right tools and a master leadership makes it look simple can’t wait for the next one 👍👋🇨🇦
Man that can of Deoxit D5 is like $30. I'm jealous. It's good stuff
It is good to see you invest in good tools.
Amazing wrap up on this one...that new tool to set the bushings definitely is a game changer. Appreciate you sharing your day with us and looking forward to seeing your next adventure 😎👨🔧🛠️🔧🚜🇺🇸😇👨🏭
The Bronze Bushings you installed is most likely Ampco 18. This alloy mix handles high load pressure better. Now you are correct on the Graphite in it. This style bushing some what self lubricating. Oil is used at first. From past experience grease can be used but tends to erode the graphite. Where I worked used this style bushings on dies for Automotive industry.
Clint you run a great ship, your work ethic with your employees is impressive, great vids , give the boys a good clatter on their backs from me.
Nice looking D7F in the background there guys.
Thanks for another quality video.
It's weird how I can sit here and just watch you guys work for almost an hour sometimes,😐, it must be Clint's soothing voice, lol, tho he's also very good at explaining everything,👍, great video guys, and thanks for sharing.
All right! Someone followed through with a can of DeoxIT for you. It is simply the best long-term solution for keeping electronic connectors working and protected!
Damn, that pin testfit was so satisfying! There's something about precise fitment, may it be in heavy machinery or tools. 😎🤟
Or maybe I'm just spoiled by Kurtis from CEE Australia... 😁
Mason's steep learning curve will serve him well in the future. He is a well rounded intelligent young man. Shame he wants to be an electrician, my experience of electricians in my 45 years in construction is that they are all prima donnas, stick with the big plant Mason.
No bad thing, as plant will be going more electrical in the future- or at least desiel-electric
Thank you for your channel. I have so much more respect for the intelligence and creative and problem solving minds of mechanics. You have so many different tools, machines cutters, welders, engine fixing tools and testers. All the spare parts and sheets of metal you keep on hand. Of course, you all can do it all and or learn or teach how to do it! An excellent problem solving and planning career you all have!👍👍
Can’t wait for the tool box giveaway.
Coming this week is the review video
What you can do instead of making go/no-go gauges every time is make a simple telescopic gauge on the lathe. Just a drilled piece of bar that fits through the boring bar, with a smaller diameter bar that slides into it. A set screw to secure it at bore size, remove and measure with a micrometer or calipers. Round the ends over so you get a true reading
You can also buy them fairly cheap as a set, called snap gauges (same principle as you mentioned but sprung loaded)
That boom pin looks like it fits better than factory. Enjoy your videos.
It’s about time you got a hollow ram. You are gonna love it. They can do a lot of things…..fantastic gadget.
Excellent work from all you guys carrying out those difficult repairs. I'm very impressed with that new bushing installation tool.
Looks like you need to build an addition to the shop that includes a high bay to work on tall equipment!
Sweet video. You do amazing work and a treat to watch. Class act . Thanks Clinton.
Precision manufacturing and fitting from c/c equipment nicely done people
Nice Job, that bore turned out sweet! You can use a Cylinder Hone on bores like this if you only need a thousandth or so. Also slicks up the surface finish and bushings slide easer.
Hi Clint, That fix on the Case will last for quite a while. Nicely done. That line boring jig is the way to fix those out of round holes! I hope you get some good use out of that stuff I sent you, god knows that Weller traveled around the world with me! Sometime surplus tools need a good home, enjoy it! Thanks for da SWAG!
Thanks for the supply’s!
Excellent work guys
That turned out really good. That hydraulic press turned out pretty good for pulling in the The bushings worked really good. Coming handy down the road that's for sure. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Good to see Kevin’s nuts have finally dropped…… good team effort again, love the new gear, awesome
I like the slow-mo shots, boring and or lathe
You guys are so lucky to be doing what you love have fun doing it. Many of us are stuck in shit shows and my escape is watching you guys and other similar channels👍
I like working on equipment Clinton keep the videos coming please
Great crew! Awesome to see you expanding the shop’s capacity. To do more for your customers.
Very interesting. You guys do a great job.
👏👏👏👏👏that for Tucker , he deserves it for how well he does everything, great video Clint, don't forget about Kevin with out him we just wouldn't laugh as much.👍👍👍👍👍
Nice to see it back together. Surprised with as low of hours and as nice as the rest of the machine is it got egg shaped.
That's what I thought as well. Lack of grease or hydraulic hammer is my guess.
Side swiping using the slewing too much would also explain those symptoms.
Heath bars Yay
Dude sent you a can of De-Oxit spray. He obviously knows what he’s doing.
Good work guys!
Sausage Fingers has his own loyal viewers!
Another great job at C & C Equipment and another happy customer. Kevin is certainly a great guy and good for laughs.
Turned out great again guys 👍. Now you know how to get Kevin happy, keep Heath bars in the fridge for him 😂😂😂. It's been nice to have a change from the dozer jobs and doing something different. Almost time for another normal day in the shop day again. I hope your customers are happy for a long time.
👋 Nice stick work Tucker.
Kevin needs a pay raise.
