This year I used your method of pre cutting ribbon and placing in tree. I used 2 different ribbons individually. I splurged on one roll of MacKenzie-Childs courtly check. I also used from last year red velvet with gold backing ribbon. It was difficult using 2 colors. Not sure I like my tree. But it is what it is. Thank you for being so exact on your teaching methods.

Kathy I love your tree and thank you for all of the tricks you shared. I hope I can find the ribbon for my tree. I especially like the nativity scene under the tree. I can’t wait to do the same with the beautiful nativity scene under our tree. I used a lot of glass with sliver and gold. I like glass ornaments because of the light reflections though out the tree. Kathy Love the tree. I especially love the colors that you used. That hunter green with the gold in the middle looks exactly like the expensive ribbons that I have seen for 60 and $70 a bolt!I love to watch how you do things on a budget. @@MYDIYKathy Sweetie, The colors on your tree are just so beautiful and unique and I love how you put the touches of the true meaning of Christmas on it. It’s not just a decorators tree. You can tell where your heart is. I hope you can find some other things to go with it because it would make a beautiful vignette and color palette for the room. You need to make a matching wreath or a swag or a garland whichever would fit better in your room to match. Hope you can find some items that will go with a look.
