once you attach any of the physical stuff to your controller you get a 7 day digital pass for that item. Friend have a gun you don't? slap it on and keep it for 7 days. They did an awesome job and thought a lot through before bringing it to market.
If you have multiple ships and weapons you can level up a pilot faster by changing to items that pilot has less experience with and leveling those weapons. You get one level point on your pilot for ever level item you level up and items need more experience to level the more you use them with that pilot. If you have multiple pilots level up mason first. His team ability can double exp gains for all pilots going forward.
TIP FOR ALL. It's ok to put parts backwards or upside down, as you may find new possibilities from doing this, like a backwards weapon may help ward off enemies that like to chase you. (You may also find that some parts look better on your ship if upside down, like wings directly connected to your ship.
so much better than no mans sky ! honestly ..its exploration and space fights done very well thank you ! have about 18 hours on it ...and not even too far in the story :)
Also why didn’t you guys add motion control as a option to steer the ship that would have been pretty cool considering the fact that you expected every one to hold a big toy space ship in your hand you would think it was the first thing you include in the game.
If you still need help 1) go to gameplay in "options" 2) scroll down until you find "allow reverse camera" 3) press down on the left stick to look behind you

The only tip you really need is to save money and get the Digital Deluxe edition that unlocks everything from the get-go. The toys are cool if you're a collector, but too expensive in the long-run as you can only unlock ships and weapons by either buying and using the toy or buying as dlc.

Dear Ubisoft, I have a question regarding starlink game : Why is it so expensive on European e-shop on switch ? It's 80€ for the standard game. All games launch at 60 or 70. It's also much more expensive than the same version but in USA. I never saw such an expensive game on switch so I will skip and not buy it. Too greedy Ubisoft. But can you help me understand why a game like this is more expensive than something like red dead redemption, which required larger teams, development time and investment? Also, the ships for 15 euros, pilots and weapons for 6 euros... Seriously... It would work for a free to play, but doesn't make sense in a game with a launch price higher than any other game. I think there is a serious problem in the economic model for this product. I think many people skipped it because of the price, it's not even in the top 30 downloads of the month. richard john Hit Minus (Either that or plus if I remember right) and go to Load out. You have to scroll down under the ship I believe but there you can change pilots.
If you go to the main menu where you switch ships, pressing down on the control pad will let you swap pilots digitally - it only works if you are already playing digitally though. If you have the mount connected, the pilot in the mount will always take priority.
About the mods on the Ubisoft store: Does it unlock on both Switch and Xbox/playstation or just the Xbox/playstation console service you signed into? The sign in doesn't have Nintendo on it is why i'm asking...

lingesh roger Pvp is not something they will try to put on kids but multiplayer as an online sounds cool. Have a buddy help you out. But I guess couch co-op is as good as we are gunna get.

Despite all the hate for the insanely greedy pricing, the game is an absolute gem and it does ooze production quality. From the stunning visuals (on PC) to the elaborate encyclopedie full of very useful (side)information to the badass gameplay loop.. I cant get enough! P.s. skip the Switch version, it does not do the game any good. Ultra low frame rates and visually garbage. I bought the game on both systems and.. well.. not good.
You have three experience bars. One on both of your attached weapons. And one for the ship. Whenever one of those reaches the level your pilot gains a level. And no you don't need to keep it attached to keep the level gain.

When you snap a physic ship, you have a digital one for 7 days? I would prefer 2 weeks, because in Speing, me and my familly are going for two weeks. But I guess I could wait a week before I go home

I need my thumb to steer the ship and can’t press accelerate and steer at the same time so I just wanna know how every one else is playing the game? the r bumper is to fly? For a game that is 100 percent flying a ship you would think that you would want it to be fluid and fun to move around. what do you mean by weapon tokens? if you are talking about the mods, there is a Equinox upgrade which lets you upgrade lesser mods to higher grade ones. And should you be short on cash you could also sell them
It's No Man's Skylanders, get it right. And Ubi took all the best things from both games and made my favorite game of the year. I mean don't get me wrong octopath was amazeballs but this game scratches an itch I've had for years. AND it's couch coop!
2 things... 1. I hope they let us refine Nova from Electrum.. maybe every 1 million or 1.5 million Electrum. can become 1 Nova... And Mods can be sold for Electrum... (I find that the foundry kinda loses it merits besides buying them yourself.) 2. I do hope they change picking up items. to upgrade outposts... generally I don't like to spend Nova on outposts. but trying to upgrade 20+ outposts on a world.. just takes way too long. and feels very grindy... Generally I just build 3 armories and upgrade them... get a few choice Observatories. and then help the other settlements. They can and will upgrade themselves. (it's why they have researchers and prospectors and such.) it takes a lot longer though. They will also build new outposts. as will as destroy imp hives and build on those.. which is really cool. I kinda wish there was a way to get the alliance members in space too... oh I guess a third thing is. make the Dreadnoughts and Primes spawn more frequently... when I am farming for Nova.. I tend to run out of the big boys. primes are easy and give you lots of Nova... between the travel time and fight time for an extractor and drakes. Primes are probably the best way to go... only you can carry one prime core at a time... which sucks. but makes sense... it just we got Refineries and yet even though we got the secret to making Nova. we can't. :( currently I'm building the Starlink Towers... so I don't know if that changes.. I hope the St. Grand's secret mission will do it... but based on what I could find on the net I doubt it. Still good game. lots of fun.. I would recommend buying the digital version. then you don't have to deal with the toys that could easily break...
The game is full of glitches.. such as pointing at a planet for fast travel not working, missiles not targeting enemy (also crates with loot) when pointed directly at them, going too fast on a hill can cause ypu to wipe out randomly (literally no reason), and you can't properly navigate through side panel icons to see where discovered locations are on the map... you have to find it manually. Oh yea, almost forget.. if you purchased the physical items, they have a timer and need to be reconnected. Otherwise, the game locks them again. But hey, silver lining, right?! There was a glitch where you could get some decent nova vs. hours of grinding the same mission.. oh wait.. they patched that.. but not anything else mentioned above. The game's is fun, but it's a cash grab & and it's not worth it, honestly.

you can also connect multiple wings on your ship, too, for increased handling (...and weight)

You can get Heat and Frost Bursts if you use the stasis effect of the Missile with Lift. You can also freeze or set things on fire this way.

I can't seem to fast travel anymore to the planets that I visited. I'm reduced to using Warden spires to do it. Is this a bug?
I got my game with the ship that attaches to the controller but my ship got damaged and it’s asking me to equip another ship but I only have that ship
Every ship included in a starter pack is also permanently available for digital use
