There's something I like to point out on a couple of combos in case somebody might not know and I hope can be somewhat helpful: 1. CH SSR 1, ff4 There are some characters that the orientation of bryan after ff4 will be more to their side than most (i.e Steve) 2.) CH ff4, dash, qcf 21, b3f~3, d/b2, ff2 After hitting b3, extend bryan's CD as far as possible before hitting 3. This is to make sure that the opponent is near enough for ff2 to hit after d/b2 (i.e. 8:38) Great video as always, learned some combos that I didn't know about

Great combo video!! It's awesome. I don't know why but I cannot ever ever connect the combo at 3:33. Ever. After the double knees, back 2 doesn't even as much as scratch the opponent. Am I not doing it fast enough? Please help me with this.

The mach kick on that combo is the easy part. You just have to wait for Bryan's right hand to pull back to his face and then you can start inputting the mach kick. I would say if you are picking up Bryan for the first time start with easier combos. If you're having trouble with this mach kick the rest of the combo only just gets harder.
Peter, you absolute legend! I can make more progress, and get nowhere near perfection. I've been looking for an extension to Snake Edge, WS 3, 4. Not even 2 minutes in and I already have a new trick.
I play at a mid-to-high level intermediate, by my own estimation, and my friends play at beginner to low intermediate. They have no concept of punish game, so I'm more or less free to bully them with SE as I wish.

Also, as one ( there are some more) example, after f4,1 I didn't know I have to SSR before going for the double knees. Sometimes I would just drop them and wouldn't know why. PeterYMao it does 56 damage, the ff3 can be difficult to land but it’s easier than ff4 after the dash jab combo imo. It does less wall carry than the one you suggested with b3~4,1,4 screw but of course you can get the high wall splat
Is there a trick to hitting the b 2,1,3 after double knees in the jet upper combo? I can hit the knees early or late with a deeper dash but i cant hit the b2 on xiaoyu
It's a hard combo so it will just take time. The main thing is to dash early, land the double knees as early as possible with both hits connecting and pop the opponent high enough in the air to land the b+2,1,4. There's not much else to it except practice.
Peter what is the secret to hitting 434 consistently after double knee sometimes it hits sometimes it misses just under the opponent leg, its so frustrating nobody talks about it but it has caused me pain since i started playing bryan 7 months ago, i dont know if its distance timing or just luck i tried everything
Good question mate, came here to ask the same ^^ I just figured it out! After a launch, a SSR will make it consistent, but after snake edge, when you can not SSR before the 434, you have to do 434 as soon as possible after the second knee. Doing this make it 100% consistent
Ok so after retrying it in practice I can't get the same result if I'm facing the opponent :( But a SSR before the snake edge make it 100% consistent without any timing
I literally cant land the 1st combo consistently sometimes the B3F, 2 1 does not land, what am I doing wrong or not doing that makes the ender whiff on the first normal hit combo?

At 6:45 you can try b3 f21 after deep dashing but connecting b3 is really hard You probably have to use 4 as buffer while dashing and try hitting b+3 rather than b3 to get the last 1 hit
So on the first combo after landing 4,3,4 I can get the b3 but I miss the 2,1. Am I not dashing deep enough or am I hitting the 2,1 too fast or slow? I can't figure out why I'm missing it.
Play around with the timing, but my guess is you're not dashing in deep enough after 4,3,4 and you need to delay the 2,1 after landing the b+3 just a little bit.
I don't know what the trick is with ending a combo with a dash, b+3 and after that connecting the forward 2,1.cant connect it, I seem so far away and in your video xiayou is so close

@@haiderhussain8540 sounds like you might just need to get better at the inputs. Players like Anakin, Lil Majin they all play on pad. And they can do great execution things on it. I think you just need more practice.
I'm struggling with any combo that has qcb 2, 4 in it...you have any tips on timing for the CH 4 combo? Edit: or just timing in general. After an orbital into b+2,1,4 or F+4,1 into 4,3,4, I rarely get the final hit of the combo to connect
Hey man I assume you got it down. It's 100% timing, I couldn't get at first but now I'm pretty consistent with it. Try u4 Db2 f1 qcb24 for practice then move on to ws34 qcb24.
After 3+4 CH (and similar animations) if I dash into qcf 3,4 i often drop the combo on the 3 of 4,3,4...but i find more consistent doing 3+4, micro ssr qcf 3,4 etc... Do you find the same drop problem just doing the dash? Btw always great job, would never ever tought about some of these combos XD
You don't need a lot of the SSR for qcf+3,4 -> 4,3,4 but it's a timing thing that helps. The SSR into qcf+3,4 -> 4,3,4 makes it so that there is just a little of delay before hitting the qcf+3,4. As you know the combos are prone to drop on the 3 input of the 4,3,4. That's what the SSR is built in to help prevent. After 3+4 I don't always recommend always going for qcf+3,4. If you get the 3+4 at the tip range it will be pretty hard to consistently get the qcf+3,4. However, if the 3+4 is hit from close up then it's much easier.
Great video as always! Any tips on doing that deep dash into b3? I keep doing quick hop(?) forward, hit b3 but the enders fully hit. Also, here's a good one: ws1, qcf21, qcb24, dash, b3~f21. 73 damage, high wall splat. There's also a pseudo reset if you can hit qcb24 a little bit late (1 or 2 frames?). If you can manage the reset, 75 damage. (Love doing this vs hellsweep Kaz players)

Progress not perfection means to strive for progress not perfection. Progress is achievable, perfection is not achievable.
Depends on what you are looking at. Lee is more straightforward with pokes and things. Bryan is more difficult with his pokes. However one thing that’s harder is Lee’s combos. Bryan has TJU, but lee has mist trap. Both are hard
The important thing to remember with these combos is its very easy to drop the ender (B3, F2,1). For example Jet upper-> QCF3,4 -> B2,1,4 S! -> Dash -> B3, F2,1, after the screw (S!) you need to immediately start the dash-up. Learn the timing of when you can start new inputs after the screw (4,3,4 and B2,1,4), then immediately start dashing. You need to be close enough to the opponent's feet for the B3 to hit, but not too late so the opponent hits the ground which will make your B3 whiff. After connecting with the B3 at the end of your combo, instead of immediately doing F2,1... do F, dash in a tiny bit deeper than what you would and then input 2,1. This will make it so you travel with your opponent, and will give you a higher chance at consistently hitting this combo. Hope this helps you guys!!! The combos in terms of inputs are not that hard, its learning the timing and distance of your dash ups after the screws.
I struggle with getting the last (b3>2, 1) hit. It's weird I am always just a little bit out of reach to get that last 1. Like the kick and first uppercut i get, but the final uppercut i can't seem to land
1) dash deeper before inputting b+3 2) after the b+3 immediately press forward and wait a split second before the pressing the 2,1. Outside of that... it's just practice. There is no tricks to this.
It's better to use 4 as buffer while dashing like when you execute b214 string keep holding the 4 button and then deep dashing and try training for b+3 rather than b3 So its like b3+4 on your controller but bryan reads the move as just b3 rather than b3+4 Hope it helps
This is a very issue you are describing please be more specific. Also if you are having trouble with dash into b+3 then perhaps the intermediate combos would be better suited for you, and maybe revisit the advanced combos when you get the b+3 down.
You just have to be fast and precise. There is no "tip" / "trick" really. Just ol fashion hardwork and practice. I do have a video on Bryan's magic 4 combo that might be able to guide you to doing it.
Bro maybe in the counter hit combo starting with B2 1, if u insert F F 3(hold) (after B2 1, and it's pissible) and continuing the combo with the three knee kicks and then ff2, maybe, u can get more damages
@@PeterYMao i don't remember exactly but among all the combos u did (that i did as well beforehand) it is the most powerful. It's not that easy to insert f - (f3 hold) after b2,1 but it's feasible. The only one thing is that is more a combo to do when u don't have walls
@@PeterYMao okay i hv just done it now. in counter, b2,1, ff hold3, three knee kicks (the third one with 4) then ff3 reaches 93 damages without wall. In general with walls, after ff3 hold u can do UF 3, then 2, b3 f 4,1,2 (and it reaches 88 damages). This last one connected to wall reaches 112 damages, hitting on the wall with b3 f and the two knee kicks🤟

In addition, doing UF3, 2, then b3 f, and then 2,1, is a combo that ''keeps high'' the opponent, this makes feasible (but is not easy), at some starting distances of the combo from the wall, to lauch the opponent to a good height on the wall, with the final punch 1 of the sequence b3 f 2,1. Since he is sticked on the wall at a good height u can do ff2 on the wall and then quickly b3 f 3,4... This thing increases the damage of 8-10 more points but is very difficult to do . Maybe is more feasible with the big characrers.

Do the qcf+3,4 earlier than you normally would do it, but not to the point where the qcf+3 whiffs. Try that.

SSR
SSR will not help against some characters like drago, paul,ling etc. You need to wait for their drop to begin your 434. Practice and itl be all good.

how do rush down a b3 ,f,2,1 after 4,3,4 screw combos when mine falls
Dash in after 4,3,4 but not too early or the dash won't happen.

You should always buffer the 4 so as to never get WR+3.
Also the b+3 -> f+2,1 the b+3 will drop very very easily and it only works "some what" consistently on like 10 characters.

@@haiderhussain8540 sounds like you might just need to get better at the inputs. Players like Anakin, Lil Majin they all play on pad. And they can do great execution things on it. I think you just need more practice.

After 3+4 CH (and similar animations) if I dash into qcf 3,4 i often drop the combo on the 3 of 4,3,4...but i find more consistent doing 3+4, micro ssr qcf 3,4 etc... Do you find the same drop problem just doing the dash?

You don't need a lot of the SSR for qcf+3,4 -> 4,3,4 but it's a timing thing that helps. The SSR into qcf+3,4 -> 4,3,4 makes it so that there is just a little of delay before hitting the qcf+3,4. As you know the combos are prone to drop on the 3 input of the 4,3,4. That's what the SSR is built in to help prevent. After 3+4 I don't always recommend always going for qcf+3,4. If you get the 3+4 at the tip range it will be pretty hard to consistently get the qcf+3,4. However, if the 3+4 is hit from close up then it's much easier.

Great video as always! Any tips on doing that deep dash into b3? I keep doing quick hop(?) forward, hit b3 but the enders fully hit.
Also, here's a good one: ws1, qcf21, qcb24, dash, b3~f21. 73 damage, high wall splat. There's also a pseudo reset if you can hit qcb24 a little bit late (1 or 2 frames?). If you can manage the reset, 75 damage. (Love doing this vs hellsweep Kaz players)

d+1+2 is rarely used in combos because there are better tools. You must be thinking of the at the wall. Mach punch -> backdash -> d+1+2 (resplat)

Dash in just enough for the qcf+2 to connect, but don’t dash in too far. If you get d/f+2 your inputs are not clean enough.

Peter, if we're talking about execution, would u consider bryan a harder character than lee or vice versa?
Depends on what you are looking at. Lee is more straightforward with pokes and things. Bryan is more difficult with his pokes. However one thing that’s harder is Lee’s combos. Bryan has TJU, but lee has mist trap. Both are hard
However lee's pokes dont do that much damage

The important thing to remember with these combos is its very easy to drop the ender (B3, F2,1). For example Jet upper-> QCF3,4 -> B2,1,4 S! -> Dash -> B3, F2,1, after the screw (S!) you need to immediately start the dash-up. Learn the timing of when you can start new inputs after the screw (4,3,4 and B2,1,4), then immediately start dashing. You need to be close enough to the opponent's feet for the B3 to hit, but not too late so the opponent hits the ground which will make your B3 whiff. After connecting with the B3 at the end of your combo, instead of immediately doing F2,1... do F, dash in a tiny bit deeper than what you would and then input 2,1. This will make it so you travel with your opponent, and will give you a higher chance at consistently hitting this combo. Hope this helps you guys!!! The combos in terms of inputs are not that hard, its learning the timing and distance of your dash ups after the screws.

I think u forgot insane some orbital combo,
orbital into ff4 dash double knees jab and end with ff2 ( i forgot inputs so i just put names lol )
every move of this combo is very hard but can be consistent
I personally have not found it to be consistent which is why I decided not to put it in there.

I struggle with getting the last (b3>2, 1) hit. It's weird I am always just a little bit out of reach to get that last 1. Like the kick and first uppercut i get, but the final uppercut i can't seem to land
1) dash deeper before inputting b+3
2) after the b+3 immediately press forward and wait a split second before the pressing the 2,1.
Outside of that... it's just practice. There is no tricks to this.

It's better to use 4 as buffer while dashing like when you execute b214 string keep holding the 4 button and then deep dashing and try training for b+3 rather than b3
So its like b3+4 on your controller but bryan reads the move as just b3 rather than b3+4

This is a very issue you are describing please be more specific. Also if you are having trouble with dash into b+3 then perhaps the intermediate combos would be better suited for you, and maybe revisit the advanced combos when you get the b+3 down.
Instead of doing b3, you can command kill it by doing b3+4 instead (im assuming u get running 3 instead of b3)
Lowkey doesn't do a forward dash into SSR in the snake edge combo.

You just have to be fast and precise. There is no "tip" / "trick" really. Just ol fashion hardwork and practice. I do have a video on Bryan's magic 4 combo that might be able to guide you to doing it.

Bro maybe in the counter hit combo starting with B2 1, if u insert F F 3(hold) (after B2 1, and it's pissible) and continuing the combo with the three knee kicks and then ff2, maybe, u can get more damages

@@PeterYMao i don't remember exactly but among all the combos u did (that i did as well beforehand) it is the most powerful. It's not that easy to insert f - (f3 hold) after b2,1 but it's feasible. The only one thing is that is more a combo to do when u don't have walls
@@PeterYMao okay i hv just done it now. in counter, b2,1, ff hold3, three knee kicks (the third one with 4) then ff3 reaches 93 damages without wall. In general with walls, after ff3 hold u can do UF 3, then 2, b3 f 4,1,2 (and it reaches 88 damages). This last one connected to wall reaches 112 damages, hitting on the wall with b3 f and the two knee kicks🤟

In addition, doing UF3, 2, then b3 f, and then 2,1, is a combo that ''keeps high'' the opponent, this makes feasible (but is not easy), at some starting distances of the combo from the wall, to lauch the opponent to a good height on the wall, with the final punch 1 of the sequence b3 f 2,1. Since he is sticked on the wall at a good height u can do ff2 on the wall and then quickly b3 f 3,4... This thing increases the damage of 8-10 more points but is very difficult to do . Maybe is more feasible with the big characrers.
This is the same thing with all the combo that have the bound in the beginning lets say
