  • In late June 1836, a group of boys hunting rabbits on a hillside on Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh, discovered a small cave hidden behind three slabs of slate, each piece carved into a rough conical shape. When they moved the pieces of stone, they found hidden within seventeen hand-carved miniature coffins, each containing hand-carved figures. For nearly two hundred years, the mystery of the miniature coffins has baffled and delighted tourists and locals alike, all wondering who carved the coffins and why. Theories have been put forth claiming they’re everything from a satanic spell or witchcraft to an ancient custom or even the work of notorious Scottish serial killers and body-snatchers Burke and Hare.
Many thanks to the smashing David White for research assistance :)

Brandy, by looking glass was a HUGE part of the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 soundtrack! You MUST know it! If you haven’t heard this song, you have to listen to it, at high volume, and learn it! It’s such a feel good song!!
I absolutely adore you guys, and I’m sending in a few of my own listeners tales this weekend, and I would absolutely lose my mind if you guys would read my story on your show! You guys are amazing! Thank you for all the hard work you out into this show to help educate us, and to help spread awareness about crimes that aren’t given much light in the general news media world! You both are a lights in what feels like a dark world, and I adore you both. Thank you for being so authentically yourselves when spending your time with us. Keep it weird, and thanks for letting me be a part of your gang 😊😭🥰

Love this! Scottish person here 👋
Just to let you know 'Gaelic' can be said two ways, the way you are saying is referring to Ireland, Scottish Garlic is said more like if you missed out the 'e' completely (think more gah-lic). Spelt the same but they have a different geographical contexts.

That Brandy song is also known from the first Charlie's Angels movie. Tom Green sings it to Drew Barrymore. Love this episode! More episodes about weird creepy stuff lol

Lilliputians as in Gullivers travels (written in 1726)when we was tied down as a giant by the lilli-put people who were little tiny people. the peoples sizes matched their small mindedness. its a fairy tale of sort.
