    Cromax recommends the wet bed first, that way all blend edges do not land dry onto the OEM clear with low adhesion. I have found that the 222S from Cromax will map featheredges in primer, so I keep it off primer edges, but apply it before any base is sprayed. All coats of base then have a wet bed to land on.

    Turned out great as always! I love that you said ‘don’t think shops are perfect’. People really get upset when it’s not a perfect paint job. Painters who care do their best and I wish they could appreciate the effort. Peace Gabe ✌️

    Great finish as always Gabe I love watching you spray as you look so relaxed an chilled out, I wish I could get my finishes as clean as you do mate, I've tried tacking with a microfibre but it didn't seem any better than a tack cloth so still getting lots of nibs! 😭🤔😂👍

      Yeah we saw the spots but if I had that many in my off the gun finish I would be very happy, I'm talking about 3 or 4 times as many in most of my finishes 😲😂

    Enjoy your Channel, just one thing that bugs me considering you dial in to a high standard of prep and paint and cleanliness.I have trained many painters and the one thing that I always stress is don't go to all the time and trouble of cleaning and blowing off the panels
    and then before you go to paint test the gun , pulling the trigger pointing towards the floor.Even the slightest bit of dust will kick up, even
    though the floors the extract.Why chance it, especially as you are so meticulous in all other areas.
    I have been in the body repair trade for 43 years and overall you do a great job, keep up the good work on the channel.

  • @Rocksolidamerican
    @Rocksolidamerican 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So I could see going thru all that if the damage was in the front or rear of the hood but where is at I'd probably go ahead an panel paint it, if the color is close enough for one fender it's good enough for both. Just my 2 cents God bless ya.
