I recently bought a new Parsun 5hp 4 stroke, the dealer told me Yamaha 4 is compatible with parts, I was sceptical until you lifted the lid & I saw my Parsun under there, thanks for showing 😎
do you have an example of a new carburetor repairkit ... I ask you for a photo of the example. because in my country it is very difficult to get the device and I have ordered it but they are asking for examples and serial numbers as examples in order to look for them
Where is the serial number. My stickers fell off, so I am trying to find it on the engine somewhere, do you have any suggestions? I really want to order the tune up kit but I need the serial number.
Hi. Depends what year is yours. This one in video cannot be upgraded to 6hp because up to 2007 or 2008 yamaha didnt make 1 cyl 6hp 4 stroke. If your motor has white hood, then its poss to convert it to 6hp,but it is expensive. You need carb, ignition and i think its also needs different camshaft,so not economical
I got the same motor and man do I have a ton of problems lower crank seal leaking oil stalls when idling Burns the hell out of gas sputters sometimes Yamaha carberated 4 Stokes have so many problems I see a ton of Yamahas with serious issues I will never in my life ever own a Yamaha outboard motor plus the little 4 HP motors are crammed it's so hard to replace fuel pump it's burried you Yamaha makes good stuff but there outboards are extremely overpriced overated junk the older parts are so expensive and hard to find I know there not all bad but I seen way to many with serious problems I would never get one I would rather have a two stroke omc motor and work on it there's plenty of parts available for omc and they are much easier to work on and very well built
Usually 4,5 and 6hp engine are same weight and size. Yamaha used to make twin cylinder 6hp and thats bit heavy, but now all 6hp 4 stroke are 1cyl and weigh as much as 4hp

Hello! what will happen if you set a new carburetor of Yamaha 6hp 2021 on this engine?
@@davidzoltan5263 it will just use more fuel and create more carbon buildup in engine, don't do it
Is that you darth vader?
Does the water it pumps feel warm or normal?
