yo. this is crazy. i just subscribed to your channel and im looking at your old videos to see how far you have come and you have come a long way. i used this same music when i made my first videos as well
Great drone for the money and great review ... TIP : If you remove the props always replace them using a loctite type product on the threads otherwise check the screw tightness before every flight. I tightened mine super tight with the key but a couple of screws worked loose and I only noticed it by chance just before a flight.
Thanks...did another range test today at the same location with range extender dishes and got to 1100 meters. FPV feed went out at 950m but didn't lose RC transmission. Was upset because the FPV didn't record. I will try it again next time i go out.
nope...this drone use a proprietary wifi connection... you can link directly to it and got a limited range or to controller which vastly improve signal... more if you set it in FCC 1watt versus underpowered CE mode
@@infrastructure-h9b Yes, that's what I've been doing. I'm not sure what area you are flying in, but where I am there's a lot of trees and electrical interference. So with the RC I can only get 950m.
fcc or ce mode? if you dont know how to check or switch simply set the drone in fcc mode by fast pressing 4 times power on button and wait until blue light is off... you can see if it is set by looking in the app setting under firmware...you should see channel 149 ... if you see 36 you are in CE limited mode...if you want to switch back do that again. got 1.5km on mine ... which is a cfly faith ...same drone with a lil better cam sensor
Can you tell me what device you are using to see this data in firmware? Using an ipad, I don't see anything about the channel. Are you connecting to the drone or the controller?
I have the x12 and really like it. The only problem I had with video is I was using a 64 gb sd card and that is too big. Need to stay around 15 to 30 gb. Everything else really great especially the home button, because sometimes I fly out of visual range.
The mini is a lot better drone but its more than twice the price. My x12 is a great little drone hasnt had a single problem in around 150hrs flight time. But if money isnt an issue get the mini.
@@jay71512 So Eachine (and I imagine, the others, as well) have released a "pro" version of this, rated at 3km range. Tests I've seen show that it can't do it, without ideal circumstances, but it's pretty close. Keep in mind that you're "legally" supposed to only keep this in VLOS (visual line-of-sight), so the distance is quite good, regardless. What that "max distance" really boils down to is things like tree penetration, and ability to go around close-proximity (within VLOS) buildings.
I think the Zino is better in many aspects. Of course the 4K camera on the Zino is a big one and it seems to have better intelligent features. On the other hand, the X12 has optical flow and ultra sonic, while the Zino has none. But I think they will include that on the Zino 2. Another note, the X12 seems to have a quality build.
I'm getting the x12 in about 5-6 days so I'll follow up but I think we should keep in mind the Mavic mini is about to come out soon for an estimated $400 USD. That's enticing as heck even though it will likely not have a 4k cam and rather 2k on 3 axis gimbal.
two different categories ... zino is better in video quality...4k versus FHd x12 got better flight time (22min real) better hovering thanks to vpu and ultrasonic sensor and of course is way more portable ... I got Cfly faith that is even better than x12 even if they appear to be the same the cam sensor is not. give a look at my video and you can see by yourself

Yeah..the YT music library is always the first stop. I quickly outgrew it. Thank you for the kind words.

Thanks...good tip to keep in mind. Yup, for the price, it is nice.
Wow your fpv/phone WiFi signal was 900m. Brilliant ! Great video

you can connect the phone to the RC and then, you can reach more than 1000 m and with range extander 2000 m

Can u explain ur handphone ur can fly over 1000 m..wow can u show us
Mine FPV also stops whenever its in RTH mode until I cancel it.
Do you have any video?
Try closing and opening the app again when your fpv cut out see if that helps .
Yeah was thinking of doing that but, was too afraid...lol. I will try it next time.
leave it with someone on the ground and just walk the distance away from it so you can test safely

Cant make up my mind...this or a mini? I seen some really good reviews for the X12 and some really bad ones.

That shit doesn't even cost 120$.

Muito bom, tenho um EX4 e alguns videos no canal, já cheguei perto dos 900m também. Qual canal você voa, 36 ou 149 ? Abraço

Chad B. Very good, I have an EX4 and some videos on the channel, I've already got close to 900m too. Which channel do you fly, 36 or 149? hug
Chad B. What channel ?
are you not using sdcard?
Yes. I am
@@ChadB I learned the hard way, not to go to big with SD card--don't go over 15 gb
Why take it to it’s limits and take a chance and lose it
