Fuck I miss Norm man. John Candy too. Alot of good comedians have died over the years, but there's some that you just feel like they had so much more to offer the world beyond all that they've accomplished. Now I'm gonna go watch some norm clips and then planes, trains, and automobiles. Lmao
I just love this show always. Never stop the Normal World! Dave, 1/4B, Matt, Mangella and all their friends are holding our fragile, auspicious world together!
Their memory for quotes and scenes was fantastic. I'd love to see these guys do an MST3K kind of thing. Imagine the horrific crap they'd say! Start with Night of the Living Dead -- as everyone with such a show does -- and go from there. This is the perfect milieu for these guy's wit.
Matthew Marsden did a fantastic job as Sizemore. The first time I saw Black Hawk Down was on the 4th of July while in Basic training. Favorite Stallone movie outside of Rambo and Rocky, would be Oscar. He is hilarious in it.
I saw that Rambo in the theater, not expecting much more than a mindless popcorn flick. I was blown away how much I loved that movie. It was awesome. Matthew's character was great... calm, a little effeminate, but lethal.
Really like when Matt’s on the show. Not saying everyone commenting is a bandwagon jumper but it truly doesn’t seem he was appreciated until he passed, which is always the way. Matt, to me, seems very much under appreciated as Norm was. Oh shit, what’ve I done I’ve put the moloch on him 🤘🤘
@thewhiteplaque personally I like him as a cohost, but I understand why some people have wanted him off the show. He's not as quick-witted as Dave or Matt, but he adds some good quips and helps the pacing, in my personal opinion. And I especially just think he's a good person and like him for that
@evanluna116 I think it depends on the guest and subject matter. When the guests are unknown comedians that may be funny on stage but aren't good at doing sit down podcasts and Dave and the comedians guests drivel on about comedian stuff, it gets very boring.
Demolition Man with Sly Stallone was awesome, my favorite film of his! Also has Sandra Bullock and Wesley Snipes. That movie still holds up to this day, I work in the film industry and I met him, he was nice and calm.
Funny how alot of that movie's social behaviors and constructs have come to pass in modern time society. We're police! We're not trained to deal with this level of violence! 😅
@@Jwpolk2 QBG is the anchor that keeps Dave and Matt from going too far on tangents and he's really good at skits. He isn't a comedian but that's alright. I like him also
My friends and I went to see 'First Blood' in the theater in the next town over since we didn't have one. We didn't know it was Rated R; we were all in ninth grade and had been dropped off. When we were asked for our ID's, we were immediately, obviously very upset, but the adult guy behind us said, without heaitation, "These boys are with me, five tickets, please." We were so thankful and had such a blast! Thanks randim cool grown up!
I loved how the news tried to say have OJ was a good football player. But everyone on the news was saying... yeah he got away with murder. And killed his wife. And got away with it. I died laughing!!
It’s strange how Matthew is described on Google as an American actor yet is from West Bromwich U.K . Super interesting to listen to the anecdotes about Rambo etc.
Rocky 2 best line: So whataya doin for the next 50 years.....4 the James Brown scene miiiiiight be my favorite scene in movie history.... those movies get better with age. That blue ray set was beautiful.... god i love those and i wish he was in Creed 3...... and lets not forget THUNDERLIPS
Love watching you Dave! I “roasted” Steven in his comments for losing you (I’m sure “roasted“ is inaccurate. He’s way better than me). I lived in Dearborn for 6 years and am from Grand Rapids area. You make me laugh and I’m going to try to make one of your dates if you come to the ChicagoLand area! I watch all your Normal World shows. Winning!
I wish this show was Monday through Friday and longer than a hour, but I’m happy with what y’all do! My goal is to see Dave live at least once. The problem is I live in commiefornia so I totally understand why you wouldn’t come out here. If I didn’t live here and could afford to move I wouldn’t come out here either 🤣😂
Y'all were talking about Rocky ending the Cold War, there is a great documentary called 'CHUCK NORRIS VS COMMUNISM' about how smuggled western world VHS tapes, most all, interestingly, dubbed by the same lady, were instrumental in the fall of the Eastern block regimes. Lots of nice interviews with some of the people involved and the people whose lives these films changed High rcommend.
The casting thing was a hit piece, basically the casting company was deliberately sending the wrong people for scenes because the owner hates anti woke things.
To back up Matthew Marsden I can confirm the food in China is indeed shit. When I was there I made sure to only go to American restaurant chains like McDonalds and Pizza Hut. I won't eat that trash when home but I sure as hell did in China.
I feel sorry for his kids having to clear that browser history. All kinds of ‘how to get away with it?’ And knife fighting basics’ plus pron lots of pron…
Oh man,I have to make it to the Cleveland show! Why Cleveland though? Why not Columbus? Or a smaller town? Lancaster,Ohio? Athens,Ohio? Can use the college theatres or football stadiums,if seating is an issue...have to go all the way to one of the worst,if not the worst city in Ohio...
Dave Landau is a really underrated interviewer actually.
I wish Norm was alive to see this!
Yes. Yes.
Strange thought, to be alive to witness death.
F×ckin A
Yeah I miss the legend, I just re watched dirty work a week ago, I actually bought a copy

I love seeing and hearing Matt’s stories. He’s based and has more than his fair share of common sense. Great show guys!!!

great stories. and I hate stories.
I want to see him play "Non woke Bond".
It wasn't that long we were celebrating 60K. Here's to 100K right around the corner!
Great episode, great interview. You guys just keep getting better.
I met QBG in Vegas!!
That's awesome!
Love this Marsden guy. He is so down to earth and likable
Just had Normal World show up on my feed. Awesome show Dave....I'm in!
Dave Landau is a really good movie critic. I'd love to hear him, Matt, and qb do movie reviews
Their memory for quotes and scenes was fantastic.
I'd love to see these guys do an MST3K kind of thing. Imagine the horrific crap they'd say! Start with Night of the Living Dead -- as everyone with such a show does -- and go from there.

Review, ' The Lords of Flatbush'?

Get rid of qb honestly the show would be FAR better

@zacharymcmillan2788 absolutely! He was great in episode 1 where it was only skits

I could have listened to this for 3 hours
Love having Matt on the show!
this is the lineup I prefer. make it happen, every ep
Favorite non Rocky/Rambo: Oscar
A nostalgic but clever writing
Great show, great guest.
I didn't know Mathew was in one of the Rambo movies I still gotta watch the newer ones
Matt every day

He wasn't half bad back in the day, when he was still young and hot and full of energy. 👍
We need to start wearing red clown noses at this point.
So they said both on the news
He'd be a great bond

Dave: Great show.
Loved this show

By todays standards, oj was an upstanding juvenile who wouldnt have been charged, but he'd have one heck of a go fund me.
Zero bail.

Favorite non Rocky or Rambo is Spy Kids 3-D.
Wouldn’t Rocky be considered ’A Hero’s Journey’? It’s a classic and made in an iconic time proven style.

My favorite O.J. era was when he did those three-legged Durango Boot magazine ads.

Demolition Man!

My favorite Stallone movie that is not Rocky or Rambo is Demolition Man.

Thanks. I’m glad to know my pick is appreciated.
Went to pharmacy school with Norm Hooten (real life Hoot) from Black Hawk Down. Pretty cool and humble guy.

Forgot to sell the sheets.
Best Stallone movie- Death Race 2000
He’s seeing it. I found him, turns out he was nowhere near cancer, he’s in northern Canada
This show makes me realize that I don't care about actors and movies
Obviously the actors or people quitting haven’t worked with a “live tv” director. 😂😂
