Thanks! Man we just got our first mail from her today...2 letters and boy I haven't stopped smiling since they arrived. She sounds really good. Thank you SO MUCH for asking, I really do appreciate it. Kind regards -Russ
Yulelah- The Fisher F70 is VERY light weighing in at 2 pounds 15 ounces (1.3kg), with alkaline batteries installed. Both the F70 and F75 are great machines! Happy Hunting! -Russ
John, Thanks for the kind words and you are correct, the F70 dollar for dollar is thee best machines I've employed in the service of my hobby. Happy Hunting! -Russ
Joe, I've owned both machines. For me, and I stress for me, the At-Pro just didn't do the trick. The F-70 coil is submersible, though caution must be taken to ensure the control housing doesn't get wet. I use a Fisher 1280x for my water hunts and I've never used a better water machine in my life. MANY MANY silver and gold jewelry recoveries! Happy Hunting! -Russ
Keithie, You are a beast lol. You are out in crazy cold and here I sit complaining about 8 deg. Hats off to you man, hats off to you! Kind regards -Russ
no worries!! Your welcome, i know as my dad was the same way back in the late 80's-90's when i was in basic/ AIT,etc. 11B Infantry 1988-1993. Make sure you make a video for us when she gets home
Hi Russ,I run a f44 and had it for nearly a year and I'm quite happy with it.I tried minelabs and they gave me tendinitis, some friends have expensive machines and I still get better finds, deeper and smaller stuff.I'm with the standard elliptical coil, shall I try a bigger coil, double D? I kind of exhausted my permissions and want to try different angles.what coil do you recommend?Hey,do you know if John Morgan is still podcasting? Thanks mate
hey russ you know how i fell about fishers my gold bug has hunted in -66F this winter i love fisher metal detectors great quality / lower prices good luck and happy hunting from alaska
Hi Russ ! Sound good, but how light weight is it ? I am a big man but there is not alot of strenght in my arms ! You know i hunt with a Whites prizm V and it very light weight and i can swing it all day long without hurting my arm. A friend in California suggest i buy a Fisher F75 , he also said the Fisher F 75 was a light weight machine .
Thanks! The F70 is well worth the money, I've paid for mine twice so far with my finds. If you are looking for one call Bart at Big Boys hobbies tell him I sent you...He'll give you an unbelievable price.
