Tom, just happened to come across your video, great job showing us the miniature NOGA. I can see where it would really come in handy on my lathe. Thanks
Thats a cute little Noga Tom. I like it. I can see its use in the shop. Hey I see you still have my name on the way cover. Are you hinting at something? LOL! Thanks for showing us the new tools. Adam
Hey Adam, I guess I can peel that off soon. I figure I'll wait about as long as it took you to put the cover on the machine. Just think of it as free advertising. Talk to you soon. Tom
Hey Tom, Thanks for sharing your new toy! That's a cute little guy. Like you said, it will reach all those hard-to-get places where it's bigger brothers are in the way. Have a good one! Regards Oxen Dave
Hey Tom I have been following your your impressive channel for a while now and you totally hooked me up to metalworking. I am planning on buying a mill but still need some advice what to check to evaluate a used one. I saw your video on how to evalute a lathe and would like to now if you are planning on putting something similar up here or on your blog for a mill. Thanks for all the info and advice i got from your channel and blog already.
Hi Tom... Geez....I guess I have to buy another tool...LOL, but you did send me the sales flier on the good discount! Good info/instruction...enjoyed Chuck
Nice video. I intend to purchase a nice flexible holder of that general type. I am too lazy to do a lot of work but I often find myself wishing I had that very setup when I do. Thanks for sharing.
Awww, what a cute little baby! If I were running for Governor I'd get my picture taken giving it a kiss for the papers, LOL! Seriously though, that thing is a drool maker, I hope they have a sale for Christmas! I am going to their site right now to drool some more over their other goodies At least this new habit you guys have hooked me on (it's all your fault man, hehe) is better than golf though. Golfing is expensive too, but at the end of the day you haven't made anything but your back sore and the pro-shop wealthy! At least I hope I'm going to get around to making more than comments... Thanks again for sharing with us....Aloha, Chuck.
I must've tramed out my "browser-mill" to work within the close tolerances required to communicate with the Ox Wizard! Now I just need to figure out how to get myself to work in front of a camera without freezing up so I can make a video and say hello. At least it will be shorter than my essay length comments that only my typing teacher would be proud of...cabin fever has it's effects ;) I hope you have a nice week at work, Aloha...Chuck.
Thanks Tom. I've found a bunch of different styles on Noga's website, yet USA suppliers only have a few in the catalog. NF1033 comes to mind, search on Enco. Nothing, Google NF1033 and towards the top is an Enco Listing. Rectangle magnet, with fine adjust. Use caution with the big 70# Magnetic base... I use a 35# Hunk of 8620 to dampen vibrations when walking with the camera.... yep, magnetic didn't hold that weight after 30 minutes (heat related!). Missed my toes!
Tom, I never miss your videos and have yet to comment on your channel. That being said, I was wondering if you intend to provide any snacks or smoked meats on your future videos? Adam Booth has fed us many times and, I believe, it's the newest trend in TH-cam machinist videos. Maybe something off of a food truck or an avocado since your in California. What do you think? Thanks for all the great videos!
oxtoolco Good Morning Tom nope its the old school push button starret indicator holder...I do have some noga knock offs but still prefer the very ridged starret

Sounds good to me. I like some free advertising!
Glad to see I'm not the only one that can't pass up a Noga sale. Thanks for the good review with uses.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the comment. I never met a Noga I didn't want to take home.
Cheers,
Tom

Always good fun to see a new tool review, don't know what it is, but I am a sucker for a miniature version of any tool... Thanks, Gary
Hey Gary,
Everything is shrinking around here including my hairline.
Cheers,
Tom

A friend told me one time that he wasn't bald, he was just taller than his hair.
Thanks for the review Tom. I only have a medium size and wondered how useful the smaller size might be.
Cheers,
Gary
Tom, nice review. If I get time and my shop fully operational, I'll need one of those for the small work I'm designing. Gotta get one, now!...13
Hey Ark,
This would be a good size to start your Noga collection with.
Cheers,
Tom
Now I see a new tool for the box, I have one Noga but I could use another. Thanks for the product review.
Randy
Hey Randy,
Noga's are like potato chips. You cant just have one.
cheers,
Tom

Hey Chuck,
I actually took them up on the minor sale they had. "Up to 50% off" was a tad misleading.

Tom

Hi Cerberus,
I use this size at work fairly often. Not enough to spend the $$$$ on a Fisso but certainly a Noga on sale.
Cheers,
Tom
The MiniMe of Noga holders, cool little doohickey.
Hi Tom,
Fun purchase, do those tiny Nogas end up like people when you feed them with chips....? They grow big...lol
Cheers,
Pierre

Hey Chcuk,
Looks like the comments still work. Whatever rubber band you put on is still working.
All the best,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Travers was the only one that carried the model with the round pot magnet. Travers part number is at the end of the video.
Cheers,
Tom
Hi
Tom
That looks to be a very good product
John
Hi John, don't think you will find one at a car boot sale. Linear tools did have the larger one on offer at £63.90 plus VAT recently.
Hi John,
Always nice to see your comments. Still no mail yet in case your wondering.
Cheers,
Tom
oxtoolco Hi
Tom
I have a tracking number

Hey Kris,
We might have a Marmite and Vegemite feed pretty soon. Any volunteers? Thanks for the comment and welcome to the show.

Tom
nice little holder.... personally I am still partial to my starret :)
Hey Lawrence,
Do you have the segmented cable version or the Noga like Starrett?
Cheers,
Tom

A very cool tool for sure! :o)
O,
Cool!
1:59 You can say that again and again...
You really need a wireless mic! It would cut down the echo in your opening monologue...

Hey Tom,
Looks like B&H is going to need a shuttle delivery system. Between sound and glare I'm getting it from all angles.
Cheers,
Tom
nice :)
Dear Tom, the way cover looks like it's become an inside joke between you and Adam B.
I finally had to peel it off. Uncle Adam got around to putting his cover on. An inside joke of one party.
Cheers,
Tom
