Knowing that your soil there is also sandy like ours here, I would consider planting trees below the berms rather than ontop of them. I would forever be watering with trees raised on a berm, because the water runs through our soil at a very fast pace.
I am wondering about all the calichi clay, would it not be suitable to make ceramics? Just wondering, because I know nothing about it's composition.

It's definitely the plan! Neka is using some of the caliche for mixing in the Adobe mud! The link for Neka's Channel is in the description of the live! She explains that more!✌🏾
