Many thanks for the update, Boyd. Great progress has been made but the leaks are a nuisance. I recall that the canal was abandoned because leaks in the Drayton Beauchamp area could not be plugged.
you have to be careful the green light on the machine don't appear to be working this can result in a heavy fine for you and the operator from health and safety if he is not wearing a seatbelt I am an ex building and civil engineering supervisor I'm hope I'm wrong
Soil, ash, mud what ever should just be spread on farmers fields. Such a waste of effort hauling it on roads to some other dump site, waste of money as well honestly. Just dump it on near by fields or build banks up on one side

Always brilliant to see your restoration moving forward…well done and thank you to all concerned
Don't have a boat but would love to take a trip on this canal when restored.
The cat sat on the mat
Is there any abandoned canal in England NOT being restored?
Good question? I have no idea but my guess is no. Does anyone out there know?

Hello, the green light was in working order, it just didn’t flash very often, you can see it flash at roughly 13:28

Unfortunately we have no space to dump it on the side of the canal, and it is not sufficiently fertile for farmer's fields.
Yeah I wondered where it all got to.
