Hello, when you defined static discharge head, you defined it as the height between the pump inlet centerline and the water level. But the diagram seems to indicate the height between the pump outlet center line and the water level. Could you please clarify?

Sir I have a doubt in shut-off head. As per API -610 shut-off head shall not be less than 10% of the rated head. What happenes when my shut-off head is below 10% of the rated head.
In normal operation pump may reach there and lead to damage in internals of the Pump that's why it's kept sufficient because at shut off head flow lead to zero means heating, bearing damage
