You are vey right about how really good composers and musicians live on through their music. They also live on in the other great and talented people who have been musically inspired by them.
MERCI POUR CET HOMMAGE AU GRAND MAITRE DU PIANO!!! T'AS BIEN COMPRIS, SON SYSTÈME D' ABSTRACTION MÉLODIQUE ET HARMONIQUE... BRAVO!!! ET VIVE LA MUSIQUE!!!
I'm uncertain. Is this Bill Evans playing, or someone else? I started listening, thinking it was a historic recording from Georgia or Azerbaijan or somewhere....now, not sure.
take a look at the video description , this video actually describes rather nicely who played and what and when and it really makes it clear that this is a tribute.
Well....Bill Evans never just rambled around on the keys. There was always a sense of "purposefullness." What was known at one time as "Butterfly" piano playing is represented here. It ain't bad, but it is not Evans, or so it seems to me
@@jonathanobrien3502 Yes, it's pretty strange that people come here, they get confused by the recording, and don't bother to find the basic info about the recording that is in the title and video description. For everyone still wondering - lineup Gia Rakviashvili - piano George Mel - drums Giorgi Samsonadze - bass
Thank you for this. Bill's the genius. I say 'is" because his great music keeps him with us.

Great tribute to Bill Evans. Thanks a lot.
Bill Evans was a gift to Jazz.
BEAUTIFUL 🤩😍
Wonderful
The coolest jazz music
i feel some diffs , and i like its much more more
Jesień sprzyja słuchaniu....
이 가을 날씨에 커피가 생각나게하는 곡이네요~~

Is it me, or does the piano sound out of tune?
Love his music but he passed away in 1980.
Yes, 1984 strange date.
@@alexejtishin1329 "1984" is the name of the jazz club in Tbilisi.
